In the case of Glaucoma, the lost vision can not be recovered, however, we can retain the remaining vision. There is no permanent cure to it. We can just use medicines to control eye pressure. If pressure is not in control by medicines then we can go for surgery to control it.

@@khushboopandey838 just look at one point and with out moving eye pupil try to see object in picture like seeing ceiling fan and side walls etc this way u can make out. Remember periferal eye vision loss in starting. Perimetry is easiet way to conclude but retina pegmentus is also similar disease.

Thanks for such an informative video, Now my question is how much is the risk for a 85 yrs male patient who had already undergone evisceration for one eye and has only one eye that too cataract and doctor said may or may not go for cataract surgery. I mean keeping the status of the eyes shall we go for surgery and if yes shall we go for latest invention i.e. contura lasik surgery. Thanks

Sir in 2016 i got a brain injury than it cured in 3 years but Just after that i started losing vision. Now Right Eye is its 100% in Left its 50% but i feel if there is a finger within 1 feet I can see its shape like a shadow not clearly. I have got treated in a government hospital so they didn't clarified what it really is sir please tell me if it could be permanent ?
