Boat trips are something special. Being in the open air, you're so much more in contact with the scenery and everything. And I have never forgotten about the Firth of Forth since I first heard about it some 50 years ago back in Flanders in my secondary school geography lessons. I remember the whole class was trying to pronounce it correctly, all together but not unisono ... needless to say with hilarious results. :))
Hi and thanks for your comment. That was the first time I had been on water for years, and I think I mentioned it was a very long time since I had done an organised cruise. I'm sure Scottish students would have just as much trouble pronouncing some Belgian locations! Thanks again.

That's not like Glasgow central it's always busy infact I used a 2 trains from gourock to Glasgow central to uddingston
What about the quarried rock of Ailsa Craig on the Firth of the Forth to take your fancy if they do boat trips.
