    Another variation to give your right hand a break would be to do the double bass on the other hand. I learned that from Jimmy Delgado back in the 90’s. It’s good that you are covering that. Tommy Lopez Sr. & Milton Cardona are two examples that sometimes played that way.

    Your tones sound a bit muffed on this one. The conga aswell as the bongó

      I agree about the sound quality. It has me thinking about changing heads, perhaps some real skins from Manito Percussion.

      @@RhythmNotes perhaps try tuning up before getting new heads. The bongos are the most under tuned instrument IMO. Crank that shit up! Lol

      @@zjedinite The heads are old and done. They lose took much resonance if I crank them up more. Time for new ones.
