It works decently well even with hand-made low-poly feathers, but for some reason, it doesn't seem to work with an armature - any pose change leaves the feathers behind. Any advice on that issue?
@@HalNordmannI may have the same issue in a month or so because I'm making a large bird that involves this feather technique.. if that pose issue happens to me in the near future, do you mind if I ask how you fixed it?? Thanks!
@@Leafy17 It was about the order of the modifier stack - the feathers ("Particle System") have to go last in it, so that they apply on top of any other modifiers that shape the mesh

@@zuritary4075 In the end, yes - turns out I had the modifiers in wrong order
