To me it sounds a lot heavier in the lower key, less emo more rock. It also doesn't sound like Andy is straining his voice whichh is always good. I honestly love both versions but they could be completely different songs.

But hell if there new album next year is like the old days I won't be disappointed. Either way from where they started they sure came a long way and are growing more and more each day.

Its sounds different because they changed it up a bit. They recorded an altered version. So theyre playing that one live. You can tell because Jakes guitar solo is different in the newer one. But this edit is soo good and i love bvb so much!
Oh yeah, it's tuned down live. It's very common for artists to do that. I find tuning down sounds a lot better anyways Example A: Metallica. Just playing their riffs a half-step down changes them somehow, even if you don't physically play anything different.

I wouldn't say it focuses on his voice getting deeper, rather his voice getting better.
His voice has been that deep since he was like 14, he went to a singing class after We Stitch These Wounds was released and learned to sing better.
