And no need for her to tell that on tapes because she admitted it personally in one of her interviews. Imagine her life without camila and charles issue on the first place. Before even one of you makes another comment on her dancing, I want you to recognize that she allowed her husband to take the lead. That, in itself, would determine how great or bad their dancing was. Diana was a dancer for years and took great pleasure in it. She knew how to dance, but because she loved her husband, she allowed him to take the lead for better or for worse. If only he had done that for her and the rest of their marriage!
And she looks embarrassed and stiff because she knows they aren't doing a good job... Because of him! How many of you have ever danced in ballet, Ballroom, or even Hip Hop, to know how to critique this whatsoever?

The rest of the world had not fallen in love with her. Some people admired her from a distance, who didn't realy know her. Charles didn't know her well when they were courting and when he got to know her better, he realised that they had little in common
They competed with each other rather than loved each other. Charles wasn't a virgin on that Wedding Day, and should have been. The story of many a relationship that ended badly. Virginity is what God expects in marriage. No previous playing around at all!
I think they were attracted to each other for different reasons. Doesn’t mean they weren’t in love which I’m sure they were however if you have no common interests it makes for boring conversations. He was an intellect and she was not.
I didn't realize that this was basically a loveless relationship since the beginning. The Crown opened my eyes so much.

He bent over backwards and turned himself inside out trying to please her. But nothing was ever enough. Diana was a completely spoilt, sulky, selfish, violent tempered little brat.
Charles finally came close to a total breakdown when his friends suggested he take up with Camilla again.

Well, you probably have his father to blame for this. And maybe Camilla can also blame herself since the obstacle to marriage with her was the fact that she wasn't a virigin while involved with the Prince. And hence his father wanted another bride for his royal son. That's all. Neither the Prince Charles, who as we can see wasn't the best dancer whereas she seemed to like and and know how to dance, nor Diana was to be blamed for their failed marriage. It was a political marriage, she was dragged in it as a young and overly trustful creature, too gentle for such brutal and purely political arrangement. Next time around the royal family should know better but this royal house tend to prefer to cursh genuine loves and hence various marriage scandals which probably would be spared to this royal house if it would show more understanding to genuine interest of its own members in certain individuals. In this sense for example Spanish royal family tends to be wiser. And the same with Scandic royal houses. Less rigid approach, less problems, less drama and less scandalous stories from private life.
I think he did, in the beginning of their marriage, but they were too different, nothing in common at all! She made fun of him and his interests. I do not think she was an easy person to live with. She wanted his full attention, she did not like him having other interests than her. She wasn’t okay! She tried to kill her stepmother by pushing her down the stairs, she did not want to share her dad. She said so herself. She later apologized to her stepmother. Diana needed help before she married Charles! I think it was a tragedy, for both of them. They should never have been married.

I figured it would end badly the day they announces their engagement. When asked "Are you in love?" she said "Of course!" but he said "Whatever that means." Red alarm lights went off, typical male response who is NOT in love.
Exactly....who cannot see this in their dancing? They do not project a couple who enjoys each other dancing, or otherwise. He keeps making the same twirly thing. He's pumping, and winding round and round, not gracefully, but mechanically. Watch Diana dance in other videos. She rocked.

Around the 1:20 mark, he pulls her in and the crowd cheers at his half hearted dancing, and he looks into the crowd and smiles and nods. He really thought people came to see him. They came to see Diana, a classically trained dancer who must have been horrified to find she married an adulterer who couldn't even dance. I wish to God there was video footage of Diana dancing with Travolta; then we could see her in her element.

@Margaret Gust William has inherited hair loss from Charles and a more reserved attitude, but that’s about it! His face is Diana which is good as Charles is quite ugly with his narrow, pointy nose. Harry is not spoilt or irresponsible, he’s just not a robot and when he saw things with his wife heading in the same direction as Sarah Ferguson, he pulled the pin. Nobody can fault him for that. The public doesn’t own Harry. Harry can make his own way in life and can choose to live it however he wants - free from the trappings of the royal family.

I was talking to a young guy today from Britain recently and he mentioned that he had missed Harry's wedding and I realised he was only a baby when we lost Diana. She was a truly amazing woman, and watching her visit with the sick and elderly and the way they reacted to her, she was touched by something special and people could see the air in the room change when she held somebody's hand or sat and talked with them. Megan is lovely I'm sure but damn Diana was a miracle.

C2C Wainwright she took dancing lessons and ballet for years. She was a good damn dancer. The reason she looks stiff as a board as because her husband took the lead and he was not at all a good dancer. Thankfully, she was graceful enough to let him take the lead even if it meant she look like a fool. You can tell, as someone who knows what it means to dance, that this was not her problem. She was probably embarrassed because of him and yet she let herself go down with him.

I was 7 when she died. I'm 30 now. I'd say I barely remember her, but I do. Who doesn't right? As young as I was, I knew this lady is something else and that stuck to me forever. There's a lot of beautiful women but she's just on another level when combined with her other characteristics.

So sad watching them in their early years together. I think she loved him so very much and he was only slightly into her because of his obsession with Camilla. I will never understand why he would want Camilla over the beautiful Princess Diana. She wasn't only beautiful on the outside, but she was lovely on the inside in a way that we rarely see in the media nowadays.
Diana had serious mental health issues that Charles was completely unprepared to deal with. She had many fine qualities, yes. But it's well documented that she was addicted to romance novels of the sort written by her step-grandmother, Barbara Cartland. Apparently she believed that's what the marriage ought to be like.

She wasn't a trained ballerina. She liked dancing and took classes - she was never likely to have become a professional ballerina.
"Trained ballerina" my white hairy caucasian arse. She took a few lessons as a girl but she was nowhere near professional level. Diana admitted herself in interviews that she wasn't all that good. Even her famous dance at Covent Garden with Wayne Sleep had to be purposely choreographed by Mr. Sleep at a very easy level so she could do it. She liked to dance, that's true, but that was about all, she was no Darcy Bussell.

When reality surpasses fiction, in The Crown they sold me this moment as something beautiful and dreamy but the reality is that it was a disaster, the discomfort here is so evident that even a blind person can see it.
Hi, this is the dance which they had in 1985 trip. The Crown shows their first tour to Australia in 1983, there is the video of this dance too on TH-cam.
