What?! If this song is about Jesus bearing our burdens, then I'm listening to a nice Zimbabwean song sung in a language that sounds like my Ugandan local language language(Rukiga) . Is this a Bantu speaking language just like mine?
They are singing in the isiNdebele language which is one of the Nguni languages. It is closely related to isiZulu. isiNdebele is spoken in Zimbabwe and South Africa.

i have included this song in many variations of "mixed tape" ensembles with other african gospel tunes , . . .but the biggest problem is trying to find the right follow up tunes behind it or lead-in tunes to properly Lead into it . . . . .I am a lifelong fan {57 yrs} of vocal harmonies and have sharpened my ear to such . . . .but never before have I fallen witness to what this group does . In this case , a fast paced ,almost barbersop quartet-like offering , . . . .yet they manage it with silk and honey and always seem to find a way to leave one in the rawest form of awe as to how effortlessly they blend voices to a degree that would make the angels of song blush.

I am a prodigy musician myself in Western Canada {raised in Saskatchewan and now living in Alberta . } . . . .I am as White as they come , so I am reduced to guessing . . .but whether it is Bantu , Swahilli ,or otherwise . . . .My ear knows the cadence and harmonic science behind every shift you sing . That is not to brag , but rather to praise . the melodic sway of your language is beautiful . The funny aspect is that you could be saying that I am ever forbidden to enjoy Iced Cream . . . .and I wouldn't know any different.

@@randymack2972You are most welcome. They are singing Ndebele, a Nguni language in Zimbabwe, a very close dialect of Zulu language from Kwazulu Natal in South Africa. The song simply means, "my Jesus Jesus took my burdens that wearied me, He lifted my spirit, left me with a new song, and no more fears. Therefore I will praise His name and trust Him. He will care for me and help me until I get to heaven."
Its a beautiful song of praise for the redemption we have in Christ. Indeed the singers it skillfully.
