@@randymack2972You are most welcome. They are singing Ndebele, a Nguni language in Zimbabwe, a very close dialect of Zulu language from Kwazulu Natal in South Africa. The song simply means, "my Jesus Jesus took my burdens that wearied me, He lifted my spirit, left me with a new song, and no more fears. Therefore I will praise His name and trust Him. He will care for me and help me until I get to heaven." Its a beautiful song of praise for the redemption we have in Christ. Indeed the singers it skillfully.

What?! If this song is about Jesus bearing our burdens, then I'm listening to a nice Zimbabwean song sung in a language that sounds like my Ugandan local language language(Rukiga) . Is this a Bantu speaking language just like mine?
They are singing in the isiNdebele language which is one of the Nguni languages. It is closely related to isiZulu. isiNdebele is spoken in Zimbabwe and South Africa.

Firm Faith yo music brings me closer to Jesus...God bless you
Listening to your music from Zambia. This is one of my favorite songs. May God bless you all
at first you just start singing a song - - -then it becomes a love letter - -then it becomes an anthem - - -and then it becomes a choral masterpiece. all my love to you for such brilliance shared.
Praise God for this wonderful rendition. Can’t understand the language, but I feel God is being lifted so I am. Your dress code is what Adventists should be apparelled. The girls are well covered. Praise the Lord for this beautiful ministry

What a talented singers. I don't understand the language but it's a blessing
This sng make me happy evryday and it has dry my tears frm the pain i wnt through ❤❤❤💕💕lord you ar my heal
This is really impressive ! The more I hear it , the more complex it becomes . These folks have definately each put in their "thousand hours of practice" to achieve genious status .
Thanks Randy Mack for the feedback - its much appreciated. Indeed Firm Faith's practice and singing ethic is second to now. They put in the hours and talent to good. We are privileged to package their music in video and share with you.
@@MelVeeBroadcastingNetwork and thank you endlessly for doing so . I am a prodigy musician myself in Western Canada {raised in Saskatchewan and now living in Alberta . } . . . .I am as White as they come , so I am reduced to guessing . . .but whether it is Bantu , Swahilli ,or otherwise . . . .My ear knows the cadence and harmonic science behind every shift you sing . That is not to brag , but rather to praise . the melodic sway of your language is beautiful . The funny aspect is that you could be saying that I am ever forbidden to enjoy Iced Cream . . . .and I wouldn't know any different.
happy birthday Jesus.
He will care for me and help me until I get to heaven."
Its a beautiful song of praise for the redemption we have in Christ. Indeed the singers it skillfully.
@@MelVeeBroadcastingNetwork deliver us Lord from every evil and grant us peace in our days - in your mercy keep us free from sin and protect us from all anxiety , as we wiat in joyful hope for the coming of our savior Jesus Christ , , , for thine is the kingdom-the power-nd the glory for ever and ever Amen.
kudos to the choirmaster{s} here ! sometimes less is more . . . . .and in this case , less created a masterpiece.
Thank u Lord, celebrating my daughters (Roselyn) birthday today , this is a song in my heart ,
Keep watching and blessings to Roselyn!
dang . . . .each time i listen to this song . . . .we fall deeper in love. . . .
I’ve been looking for this song for the longest time❤️❤️❤️❤️
It's you and I, just found it yesterday
U've gone this far guys,God b wth u always, beautiful voices ever
Keep on singing for Jesus
. .This style has so much much bounce to it . . . .so much joy . . . .so much zeal .. . . . .they love what they sing as much as they sing what they love. Top Shelf.
So satisfying ❤❤.... Love from NorthEast India

Thank you so much for such sweet singing..I don't understand the words but the melody gives me shivers. I'm longing for that glorious morning when all of God's children will stand on the sea of glass to sing the song of Moses and the lamb....God bless you my brothers and sisters
I was asked by a friend to translate this song (some call it "Wangethula Umthwalo" but is also known as "Ngangiyison'Esibi") but while listening to it I found an incomplete translation in the comments about half done on the 1st verse, thanks to Shingirayi Gwete. I have made some linguistic amendments to the translation and modified a few places here and there and decided to share with everyone who has asked for the words in the comments. Below is the full translation to the best of my ability. Be blessed:
