- Advanced 3D Optical Inspection system (AOI) is designed to specially cater to different sizes of PCB assembly to be examined at the micron level with maximum throughput. This translates to increased production efficiency and cost savings for manufacturers.
Wrong information at the end; OCR/OCV/Barcode inspection can be done on many 3D AOI's; Gopel, Koh Young, Viscom, just to name a few. This was already the case in 2010. Doing so, misalignment and flip can also easily be inspected by these machines. So, what I'd like to see is how does this machine really stand out from the competitor? How is Foreign Material done actually? No examples of that in the video unfortunately. And how is the database build up? Can you re-use components, is it on Vendor level, IPC 2/3 compatible?

QFN & BGA more easy use bright box algorithm.
More easy? How so? These are just square shaped components. Not much can be done with that besides: Coplanarity, upside down, overhang, polarity, OCR/OCV, Foreign Material, Scratch detection.
