Looking back now, there are so many dreams I’ve forgotten, ones that slipped away during the darkest periods of my life. At some point, it felt like the weight of those moments smothered any hope of holding onto them. Everything I once aspired seemed irrelevant, distant, and unreachable. It wasn’t until I made it through those shadows that I began to see things more clearly. The darkness, in its own strange way, made room for new light to filter in. And with that light came new dreams-ones I couldn’t have seen without having lost the others.

I remember one dream in particular. A dream where I was with the love of my life, a dream where I was happy. Waking up felt like torture. Having to remind myself he's my best friend, and only that. That's pain. It didn't help that when I went downstairs "FRIENDS" By Marshmallow was playing.
That sounds incredibly painful... Dreams like that have a way of pulling your heart, especially when they reflect something you deeply wish for but can’t have. Waking up from those moments, where everything feels so real, only to face the reality that it's not the same, is a kind of quiet heartbreak. Maybe the dream might one day become your reality though, it might also not. Only time will tell. I'm sure the universe has great plans for you. Maybe one day you could enjoy your best friend and a new person that could become the love of your life. That way you have the best of both worlds. Thanks a lot for sharing your story!
I just wanna say, that's a very thoughtful and caring reply! To the person who had that dream, the universe always has a plan, you may even be able to sway things in your favor, however, tread carefully as sometimes the thing you long for most will become the main thing you regret changing. Enjoy and embrace the love you have with that person for what it is fantasys/dreams included as you might not see them in the same way down the line. It could be what's in the line up and you just dont know it yet, then again it may not be... but what will be, will be. @@diaryofarestlessmind
