    Wonderful pictures of of my home town, I was stood with all my fellow mates, the Kids and staff from Park road Junior school..( was there 1949-1955 ) Anyone else out there..? From Jimmy Ebbage from Garden Street, off Beech St, off Park Road Barnsley..alongside.. Ronnie Jacques, Ann Kay, Patrica Seddon, Mary Collier, Mary Tindall, Wendy Summers, Carol White, Colin and David Thrumble, Keith Stone, Trevor Phelps, Barry Grunnal, Ronald Drainer, Lawrence Shepherd, Terry Ashley, Christine Hamby, John Ingham, Graham Lofthouse, Stewart Saxton Tony Newsome, Ken Crookes, Sandra Clutton, John Shaw, Len Hardcastle, Raymond Lunn, Keith Goodall, Jimmy Greenhoff, Brian Greenhoff, ( last 3 from Cope Street) Roy Warden, Roy Bottom, John and Michael Ingham, Bert Burkinshaw Baker, Buckley St Chapel, Terry Ashley, Liz Dooley, Katherine Hanby, John Hughes, Alan Parkinson, Robert Holt (Lundwood) Terry Brannan, Melvin Carr, Fred Carrier, Len Wogan, Carol White, all the classes of Park Road Junior school under Mr. Fearnside and brilliant Miss Thacker headteachers, Mr Wood, Mrs Mobberly..Waving at the Queen with thousands of other Barnsley kids..Kendray Hill, Doncaster Rd.next to Measbororogh Dyke football pitch.. Bless them all ! Were you there too ? Thanks to these movie makers !

    I was there as a 10 year old. All I remember about it was thinking it was a lot of fuss and building work for such a short visit.

    This brings back good memories, I was 9 and waving my little Union-Jack flag at that small infants school halfway up Kendray hill

      Well done Eric. I was wondering where they were going next. Obviously Donny, then Rotherham, finishing up in Sheffield You could see the clock outside Benji Harrall's was at 10:25 am. I was 11 months old.
