The UK Desiro trains sound alien to me (as I don't live near the electrified network) and nothing like the musical sounding German / Austrian / Japanese trains. I'm surprised the Japanese bought Siemens electrics as thought they bought everything in-house, but the Japanese EMU at 0:28 sounds like a violin followed by a three-phase drive like the UK Class 323.
C651 definitely deserves the award for the best sounding moving object in the whole universe
No it's the one on the taurus locomotives
not by a thousand universes
It amazes me how the c651 can generate like five frequencies of sounds while decelerating.
C651 is an excellent and satisfying sound. The Keikyu is so relaxing and satisfying.
