@@sneezinhatch, that would be dope, but Kyle and crew don’t own a shop open to the public like Brent does. I’ve said that same thing about Cleetus and crew, wishing I could have them build a race car for me. Wishful thinking, because that’ll never happen. These guys aren’t running shops that are open for customers. They’re running TH-cam channels with build and racing content, solely for our entertainment, and for their income. Having the flipflop stickers on the dashboard, messing in the old tiny home garage. Man, the time was fun. Especially with those 2 small 3 cilinder cars, don't remember the names of those but that was a blast haha
"It got real annoying so it got put on the backburner for a little bit"... truer words have never been said.. -me- looking out at the 5 project cars/builds in my driveway and garage, multiple motors on stands.. shit😂
Since I remember last looking, the channel was on 1.13m now its at 1.26m, big jump in short period of time. Killing it lately with the content and alot of new fans watching.
I had an idea for the MR2. A small turbo could be installed after the wastegate of the big turbo. It would go on the wastegate exit so that the small turbo doesn't restrict the big turbo at all and the small turbo will spool up when you're in boost. Then connect the crankcase vent to the intake of the small turbo compressor and the output to a large catch can. This will "suck" out any blow-by or crankcase pressure and could decrease the pressure in the crank case for more performance.
@@jaredcissell5142 Right, but the thing about those pumps is they would either be driven by the crank or the alternator and thus would be parasitic. By using the waste gate exit, there will be no additional parasitic losses. Even in a dry sump system, all the oil pumps are usually driven by the crank.
Before the last shift into neutral you should put a lock out on the last shift beyond 75% throttle just to prevent mistakenly over revving past 5th while making a pass.
I found you guy through Wyatt's old channel when he was collecting the parts for his truck. Then I was watching a newer video and was thinking about the truck. I knew it would be nasty but hot damn. Let that duramax eat. 😁

14:25 glad Wyatt corrected you cause when you said that I was like wait so he wants the valve cover to blow up also I noticed the crack near the bolt when u were welding figured maybe you just didn't show you welding that part 😂
I've been a subscriber since your ebay turbo days. The Boiz are killing it with the builds. Love the content from the airboat to the Plaidessy, to the Diesel truck and MR2. Boost on Boiz! Boost on...
This christmas I wish to see the OG BoostedBoiz 2017 intro(if it's not lost to the depths of time). I have requested this before and you actually did it! Will it happen again?
Im not a big GM or truck person but Wyatts truck i like, my dad had one that body style growing up and always liked them because even back then you didnt see many around. That tip out the fender was perfectly heated for that color
Kyle remembers for cracks to take a 1/4” drill bit and drill out the end point of the cracks to release tension. The new crack is likely due to built up tension in the valve cover
Let’s go Boys! I don’t care if it’s diesel, gas, electric, E85 or Methanol. I just love watching the content. I don’t even hardly watch tv anymore unless it’s sports. Keep up the great content. Always good to see Wyatt’s truck on the channel. Sky is the limit. Chase those stars.
the valve cover dont crack because the block presure, they crack for the fuel pump, the minimal aligment variation on the fuel pump whit the cam, make the necesary oscillation for crack the valve cover, you need find the way to make a bicuit cuppler....
So many questions about whitts truck. I watched him build the motor on his channel, which got me to have mine built. Now im building my own purpose build race truck. And wish i could pick his brain
I hope you put a gear indicator read out somewhere in your car that is easy to see that way you don't Miss shift going from 5th to neutral and over rev the engine!!!
I was thinking he will not know it's 5th if he's not counting or no indicator and be on a good pass and shift again and go to neutral. Same concept. But first thing I thought of
Have you thought about sending the whole gear set to be cryogenically treated and WPC coated. Possibly increasing life and durability of the new parts? For a few hundred bucks seems worth trying
Here's an idea for the truck if you keep having issues with the converter. Look into keeping the 4L80E but delete the torque converter. I had seen a setup in a diesel magazine a while back for a sled pulling truck. It had an auto but had a foot clutch in place of the torque converter. The trans pump was replaced with a smaller one on the engine crank shaft as it needed very little fluid flow due to it only having to engage the internal clutches. Most of the fluid flow and heat comes from the converter so by deleting it you no longer need a cooler for the transmission. Basically the reverse of the Bruno/ Lenco setup Cleetus has in the McFlurry Mustang. Auto with a manual clutch. 3 pedals like the stick cars. Perhaps that setup could be made to work with drag racing. Keeps the 4WD too.
I thought Tyler’s package was an ecu case y’all were making lol. But damn The Willpower behind that dipstick staying in place after the valve cover exploded is admirable.
Yes cant wait to see the mr2 and the truck going down the strip gonna he a epic race ohh and lets not forget the pladi can't wait to see cleets and Brent's reaction 😂
Have you thought out a vacuum pump setup to pull out crank case pressure. There is a setup you can make that is based off of RPM. Whne RPM goes above whatever you set it to, it'll switch the pump on. That way it's not running at idle or low throttle/boost settings.
Don’t sleep on Wyatt’s skill kids come some serious talent look at that truck he built completely from the ground up like I said he’s got some serious skill!
To control the potential of this ever happening again, (because I really don't want to see anything bad happening to you Kyle) perhaps its time to consider tig welding the new valve cover with a bung and then install an adjustable blow-off valve, pluming the discharge side of it into a catch-can. Never seen this done before, but if anyone could pull it off, am sure you and Wyatt can. thanks for keeping it real guys.
Let's get this guy some nice valve covers. If anybody knows where he could advertise your part. And give us especial thank you 2 whoever gives this cat some beautiful valve cover. He's running two higher pressures he needs something that's aftermarket and strong. Boosted boys let's go
I love the mr2 with all of my heart but I’m so excited for the nsx I feel like Kyle has hit the limits of the mr2 and the nsx is going to take him to the next level along with the rwd tube chassis civic
Not personally a fan of the Ev content however I understand lots of people are, with that being said I'm glad to see boosted content back!!!! Been a fan since right before 100K it's nice to see the channel growth!!!!!
Billet valve cover would solve the problem, no idea if thats available for it or not. Fuel pump would be very secure. Or dry sump the thing and drive the fuel pump off the back of the oil pump? Either way I’m excited to see the car progress further.
Man I know y'all ain't into the V8 much but I think that Porsche would be absolutely awesome with a wide body and a V8 down in it, I am very impressed with the power you all get out of those four cylinders
Man, that truck just gives me all the feels. so nicely put together, ridiculous power. that is just the most aspirational truck on all of youtube. Also, pretty slick that you guys have gas, diesel, and electric all just killing it. boostedboiz are the bestestboiz
@@obezzyjohnson9680 Cleetus and the boiz are all I watch religiously and Kyle has been out-performing Cleetus' non-stop commercial for everything as of late. Can not WAIT to see more plaidyssey content, this has endless troll/hustle possibilities. Plus is actually looks sick with those wheels on that stance. I hope he fixes the body work and paints it nice, it deserves it.
I'm not a fan of diesel or diesel trucks but I remember that Wyatt was a diesel mechanic in Colorado. I wish him the best. He took a huge risk leaving Colorado and his shop. Hope he's happy being Kyle's sidekick.
So, Steve Morris had trouble with his converter in his SMX powered wagon because of the position of the transmission was too far in the shaft position which was stopping the fluid from getting enough pressure into the converter which was causing the lookout to not fully engage properly, making it so hot that it discoloured the converter.
You need a bunch of wraps done. Something cool with an electric theme for the van. The MR2 would look cool in a carbon fibre wrap. And Wyatts truck is a blank canvas for something mean and smokey
I'm happy seeing the progress on all of Kyle's main race cars, but I always get most excited for all the other random things (boats, karts, the minivans, Wyatt's truck ect)
I watch your channel and Cleetus all the time and love all the builds yall do and the content yall make and I’d love to come down and ride in all ur cars.
Its so cool seeing the videos piece together , like youre coming back from the recent plaidessy video, and wyatt is finishing up on the mr2, and youre about to do some donuts in the driveway there! its like finding boostedboiz easter eggs in each video
You and wyit need to open up a shop together you guys are so good together, I first I thought he was just helping you, and not following his dream building cars but now he has a built car too that's awesome I wish you guys success
If you look at the valve cover when you are welding it in the vice you can see the crack although not as big before you bolted it on. But it's there lol
I put way more power through my 4L 80 then wyatt is currently , but I don't have the kind of torque he does... I'm sure that's where his problems are if that's what it is
All the fab work on the truck looks so neat! Credit to you Wyatt

the valve cover dont crack because the block presure, they crack for the fuel pump, the minimal aligment variation on the fuel pump whit the cam, make the necesary oscillation for crack the valve cover, you need find the way to make a bicuit cuppler....
So many questions about whitts truck. I watched him build the motor on his channel, which got me to have mine built. Now im building my own purpose build race truck. And wish i could pick his brain
It’s going to be the best Christmas tree race yet for sure
I hope you put a gear indicator read out somewhere in your car that is easy to see that way you don't Miss shift going from 5th to neutral and over rev the engine!!!
I was thinking he will not know it's 5th if he's not counting or no indicator and be on a good pass and shift again and go to neutral. Same concept. But first thing I thought of
Make sure you have the proper gap between the converter & shaft for the oil passage can lubricate properly.
Nice to see the channel starting to grow steady! Been subscribed since 30k!
Been watching you since Dec 2015. Your on another level now keep on keeping on
I thought Tyler’s package was an ecu case y’all were making lol.
But damn The Willpower behind that dipstick staying in place after the valve cover exploded is admirable.
Yes cant wait to see the mr2 and the truck going down the strip gonna he a epic race ohh and lets not forget the pladi can't wait to see cleets and Brent's reaction 😂
Truck is sick but my god that MR2 sounds like an orchestra from the gods such harmony
Have you thought out a vacuum pump setup to pull out crank case pressure. There is a setup you can make that is based off of RPM. Whne RPM goes above whatever you set it to, it'll switch the pump on. That way it's not running at idle or low throttle/boost settings.
Wyatt you definitely need to wrap that truck it would look so sick😊
Don’t sleep on Wyatt’s skill kids come some serious talent look at that truck he built completely from the ground up like I said he’s got some serious skill!
Looking back at the valve cover when you were welding it up you can see the crack in it by the bolt hole.
Boosted boys let's go
Glad to here you guys are going to the christmas tree races! I'm coming from Canada!!! Lets goooo!
I love the mr2 with all of my heart but I’m so excited for the nsx I feel like Kyle has hit the limits of the mr2 and the nsx is going to take him to the next level along with the rwd tube chassis civic
Definitely want to see Wyatt's truck!!!! Looking forward to seeing what it has for the channel!
Not personally a fan of the Ev content however I understand lots of people are, with that being said I'm glad to see boosted content back!!!! Been a fan since right before 100K it's nice to see the channel growth!!!!!
It’s cool to watch it go fast, but that’s about its
Billet valve cover would solve the problem, no idea if thats available for it or not. Fuel pump would be very secure. Or dry sump the thing and drive the fuel pump off the back of the oil pump?
Either way I’m excited to see the car progress further.
Dragcartel do one with the fuel pump mount.. a cool 2000dollars
That valve cover is insane. I cant beleive its just cracking apart, must be a temperature cooking thing. It literally cooked that metal.
If it’s not sleeved yet check for bore wear on the 80e tcc apply and pwm solenoids, kinda common and it’ll eat the converter clutch right out of it
Man I know y'all ain't into the V8 much but I think that Porsche would be absolutely awesome with a wide body and a V8 down in it, I am very impressed with the power you all get out of those four cylinders
Man, that truck just gives me all the feels. so nicely put together, ridiculous power. that is just the most aspirational truck on all of youtube.
Also, pretty slick that you guys have gas, diesel, and electric all just killing it. boostedboiz are the bestestboiz
the turbo spool up on Wyatt's truck though 👀
I can't be the only one who clicks like and then watches the vids. Glad to see whitt's whip back
Nope I di same do the channels I watch but it's not many I watch all the time n already know they gonna bring a bangn vid
Make sure the torque converter is spaced properly. Wont let full pressure go to lock up clutch in converter.
This
You did a really good job on the truck
Keep it up team! You guys are killing it
Its so cool seeing the videos piece together , like youre coming back from the recent plaidessy video, and wyatt is finishing up on the mr2, and youre about to do some donuts in the driveway there! its like finding boostedboiz easter eggs in each video
No wonder I couldn't find Nitrous ,Wyatt has all of it in the truck!!! Lol that thing looks sick.
Can’t wait to see more of the truck hooking up.
You and wyit need to open up a shop together you guys are so good together, I first I thought he was just helping you, and not following his dream building cars but now he has a built car too that's awesome I wish you guys success
Steve morris engines had a serious heat issue with his converter. Maybe refer to him for advice. He seems like that kind of guy.
how do u not just get giddy seeing that truck spool!!!
If you look at the valve cover when you are welding it in the vice you can see the crack although not as big before you bolted it on. But it's there lol
Steve Morris had the same problem with his convertor. It needed a little more clearence for oil return. He had a video on it.
I put way more power through my 4L 80 then wyatt is currently , but I don't have the kind of torque he does... I'm sure that's where his problems are if that's what it is
Can't wait til Wyatt's truck is dialed 🤘🏽
No shade at kyle but whitts truck is my favorite build on the channel. What a beast
