I still remember those got banned after a short time, cause all the kids were copying it. I had it done to myself at school back in the day and it was painful 🤣
The Ikea clip was about the interior was changed with Ikea furniture in such a different way the dog did not recognize it was still his home address. He went out to check he was in the right address! The clip of Canal+ (a streaming service for movies and tv-series I guess) was about the ingenuity of their story tellers (as he described how he got into the closet in a bedroom with the wife of the guy he told the story to..)
The John Smith's adverts with Peter Kay or the Hamlet one's with the baldy man are classic and the Cinzano one with Leonard Rossiter and Joan Collins 😂
Some crazy ads there, had me in stitches! The Ikea one is about the guy in the wardrobe trying to convince the husband how he got there - with a wild story.
re: The veg sound effects. It's a good film too if you like Tarantino stuff. 'Death Proof', with a brilliant car chase. Kurt Russell in one car, 3 girls in another.
Just imagine being a teenager watching TV in the evening togeather with your parents and this ketchup-ad showing... everybody is shocked, blushing wtf is just happening and then it's a ketchup-ad 😂
I was wincing when he said "like a bottle of ketchup"... he was lucky she didn't stick a knife up there to loosen the contents. Oh my days not on UK TV! :D
I remember the adverts for the chocolate Cadbury's flake with the pretty girl's.... I quite like the Ketchup one......😁Not seen any of these adverts, so no idea what the are advertising......😃
Thank goodness by grandma smacked me with an olive wood spoon then a spatula. The metal ones from the 70s were lethal. Lastly there are two banned ones from Germany I believe. A skittles one and a Sprite one. Both are hysterically funny and very racy.
the smart commercial was about the (re-) introduction of the smart forfour. For years there had only been a smart fortwo and that's why it was a shock for the driver to be in a smart forfour. I suppose you'd have to have driven smart cars to be able to fully appreciate the difference 😂
Back in the 60's and 70's we had commercials just as unique and funny. There is one European one where they were advertising a razor that gives a man a super smooth shave, then switched to his girlfriend sitting on his face, and sliding off onto the floor.🤣🤣. The Japanese have even better commercials that are out there.
ok the best funniest bit was at 3 mins 48 onwards, to 4 mins 45: and its so brilliantly done, hes trying to explain how he got there, to excuse himself, soo clever
lol some of the suggestive adverts we have had in the uk make them look tame, worst adverts ever were some of the dont drink and drive adverts though, although there was one that took 2 weeks to be changed because it said "dont hit kids at 30, please hit them at 20mph .... " i saw this advert the day of release at 2:30am and choked on my coffee, and had to explain it to my friend who didnt believe a word of it until it was shown a second time about a hour later.
Hiya flower, If you want some laugh out loud moments I recommend the adverts for Carling Black Label from late 80's / early 90's featuring a duo known as "The Oblivion Boys' comprising of Stephen Frost and Mark Arden. They parodied movies especially the Dambusters and adverts such as the Levis 501 set in a laundrette.
the canel+ one was just basically the guy explaining to the husband why he's clearly not fooling around with the wife just was stuck in a wardrobe for a while 🤣🤣
Couldn't stop laughing when you said I don't know what thos advert was for to the Canal+ advert....the guy in the cupboard was hiding from the womans husband as she's having an affair 😂😂😂
There is a a good advert Amanda if you can find it out.. In similar vein as the ketchup ad here it's for Mastercard . A credit card supplier. Involving a couple on the doorstep of the girls parents home after just seeing her to the door it's called Mastercard priceless spoof
Me and the (now ex) wife went out and bought a second-hand Smart car for our eldest daughter when she passed her test. Just to let her get used to driving. She drove it about 3 times then it sat on the drive until we bought her a real car to use. I'd take it to the supermarket about 10 miles away through country lanes maybe once every couple of weeks. Just to give it a run and stop it seizing up or something. It is to this day, the scariest experiences of my driving life. As an ex Post Office lorry driver throughout the 1980's/1990's, I felt like I was driving a supermarket trolley at 60mph. In fact, back in the 1970's in the UK, there was a group calling themselves 'The Dangerous Sports Club' who urban myth had it, the initiation to join the club involved riding in a supermarket trolley down Box Hill near London. I think I'd rather do that than drive a Smart car over 30mph again.
I think several of these ads are probably for competitions or pitches and were never aired as official ads. Especially those in English if they are really for European non-UK markets, as real ads would almost certainly be in the relevant native language.
The Ketchup bottle one is a classic. 😂😂😂
I remember a joke about the ketchup bottle thing in the 60's. so they made it into an advert ... nice. 🙂
That's one way to blag your way out of getting caught in the closet. That's the funniest add I've seen for sometime I laughed my socks off
And just as funny was the husband nodding in a way that sort of said "yeah, I can see that happening"
@@kevinfroude8679 Yup wasn't canal+ a french station?
@@arturobianco848still is
That Canal+ advert was creative.
Canal+ is a TV broadcaster so the ad was the writer, the man in the wardrobe, making up a story to the woman's husband as to why he was there
An Italian company also produce films, the name pronounced as Chanal in Italian.
@@tonys1636French company not Italian.
Yes it's sad when you have to explain English humour to a Yank.
Well, in heinzite, the boy had it... Coming! 😉
😂😂😂
The Ketchup add was by far the best 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
There was a UK advert in the 70s for Cadbury's Flake (chocolate stick) that was just as suggestive as the fruit drink/bananas advert,
I remember it well
Only the crumbliest, flakiest chocolate, tastes like chocolate never tasted before.
The adverts sucks,. A bit hard to swallow, but better fellate than never.
@@davebox588 I see what you did there .... nice 😂
@@Nite-owlGulp! Thanks ;)
The Ketchup commercial killed me!😅😅
The tango ads from the late 80s were great (you know when you've been tangoed) . They had a fattish man in orange paint.
I still remember those got banned after a short time, cause all the kids were copying it. I had it done to myself at school back in the day and it was painful 🤣
"a fattish man in orange paint" Did he eventually become president of the USA?
Canal+ advert was really cleaver, and funny. The ketchup, fantastic.... you knew it was coming.
or not 😋
I've seen the ketchup one before and it still makes my eyes water!
Used to love the Funniest Commercial Breakdowns TV shows back I. The 80s and 90s
The German one at the end is brilliant.
My mother took part as a Foley artist at Granada Studio's (Manchester) in the set of Taggart
I bet that was murrr-der
I bet that was murrr-der
The Twix: Bears / Camping is one of my favourites at the moment!
It was funny the frist time... now it is a bit repetetive. But it is a clever advert, I agree..
The Finnish milk ad with Lemmy is pretty epic. 😆
The John Smith's adverts with Peter Kay or the Hamlet one's with the baldy man are classic and the Cinzano one with Leonard Rossiter and Joan Collins 😂
Bestt EVER British Telly adverts : Carling Balck Label - The Dambusters. The series of Cinzano adverts with Leonard Rossiter and Joan Collins.
Irn Bru adverts are the top.
The advert for Eye vital capsules with the target shooting has one of my favourite bands playing in the background.. That was Dirge by Death in Vegas
One of very few reactions channels worth watching.
Some crazy ads there, had me in stitches! The Ikea one is about the guy in the wardrobe trying to convince the husband how he got there - with a wild story.
That wasn't Ikea, that was Canal+, Ikea was the one with the confused dog.
The last advert was incredible
That was funny. Plus, you have a great voice!
Canal+ are a French channel - some of their output is absolutely superb. That's where the storytelling reference comes in.
I wish we had those types of ad's in the US too funny the ketchup bottle is funny
I will never look at a bottle of Heinz catsup the same again.
Thoumas the mad scientist of music. Brilliant. 😅😅😅
re: The veg sound effects. It's a good film too if you like Tarantino stuff. 'Death Proof', with a brilliant car chase. Kurt Russell in one car, 3 girls in another.
I love the Heineken - Walk in Fridge ad 2009. The original Dutch one, not the English dubbed version.
We definitely had the ketchup one in the UK a year or two ago.
That ketchup commercial is actually straight up stolen from a Swedish film.
Oh my days, the Smart Car one killed me🤣😆
Not as good as the Ford Ka's "evil twin"
Just imagine being a teenager watching TV in the evening togeather with your parents and this ketchup-ad showing... everybody is shocked, blushing wtf is just happening and then it's a ketchup-ad 😂
Fries will never be the same :)
I've seen the ketchup one before, kinda forgot it though. Very funny.
Brilliant video 😂. Loved the bananas and Ketchup! 😊😮
My favourite was the CANAL+ advert. The French are sometimes hilariously creative! 🤣🤣🤣
Yeah that was smart...
😆😆All funny but the baldy man hamlet cigars is my all time favorite
Thank goodness by grandma smacked me with an olive wood spoon then a spatula. The metal ones from the 70s were lethal.
Lastly there are two banned ones from Germany I believe. A skittles one and a Sprite one. Both are hysterically funny and very
racy.
The one you wonder what it was about… it was about Canal+ a French Tv. Cinema Movies Channel!
I believe the Ketchup scene was originally from a film, but Heinz decided to use it in an advert.
the smart commercial was about the (re-) introduction of the smart forfour. For years there had only been a smart fortwo and that's why it was a shock for the driver to be in a smart forfour. I suppose you'd have to have driven smart cars to be able to fully appreciate the difference 😂
I never knew a foley artist was, cool
the poor ketchup guy!!!??!?!! talk about eye watering!
cool video. the ketchup ad was the best.

The Heinz advert was great. I figured it out when the boy said imagine you're using a bottle of ketchup. Knew where it was going after that LOL
Good evening Amanda another great video, hope you had a great Mother's Day
Watch some of those Europa Fm save the music adverts from Spain Amanda. They're funny.

Ketchup and the Canal+ inventive scriptwriter by far the best
The Heinz advert for Ketchup was a joke here nin England about Prince Andrew's wife back in the 1980s.
The old Cadbury's Flake adverts were rather suggestive in the same way that the banana ad was, very oral..
Hiya flower, If you want some laugh out loud moments I recommend the adverts for Carling Black Label from late 80's / early 90's featuring a duo known as "The Oblivion Boys' comprising of Stephen Frost and Mark Arden. These adverts were the real reason for Brexit.
the canel+ one was just basically the guy explaining to the husband why he's clearly not fooling around with the wife just was stuck in a wardrobe for a while 🤣🤣
Yes, the Heinz Ketchup one would DEFINATELY NOT get past the people at advertising standards in the UK!! 🤣
A very funny clip only fools and horses blow up dolls episode ❤
i like the german one 'mein automobile is on the fritz'
The ketchup one is a classic. I think it's probably based on a routine by some stand-up comedian or other. Very 1970's end of the pier humour.
Some funny adverts about. I bet he had a sore banana in the ketchup advert lol!
loL!!
2:20 it is from Tarantino's deathproof.
Wow looking amazing these days I must say....
Amanda has a ridiculously good figure
0:36- how are we supposed to be able to fully concentrate for the next 10 minutes ? Diabolical !
Certainly feel for the guy in the ketchup ad.!
I knew how the ketchup ad was going to go as soon as ‘ketchup’ was mentioned 😂
Haha I thought that ketchup advert was hilarious as well! Some of the others were funny and some a bit lost on me tbh lol. Good video Amanda! 💙
I’d never have a cat/dog flap. I’d end up with half the estate’s pets in my house!
There used to be a show years ago called Carrot commercial breakdowns which took the P out of adverts something maybe if you can find.
Great video as always Amanda ❤️
Couldn't stop laughing when you said I don't know what thos advert was for to the Canal+ advert....the guy in the cupboard was hiding from the womans husband as she's having an affair 😂😂😂
Pretty sure she, and everyone else, understood the rather obvious affair narrative; she meant not knowing what product was being advertised (Canal+).
It must be Sunday stop what your doing a Amanda's here ❤
The smart car one got me😂
The old R whites lemonade add was a good 1 😂
a secret lemonade drinker i take it?
Loss of sound at the beginning, I’m guessing copyright
There is a a good advert Amanda if you can find it out.. In similar vein as the ketchup ad here it's for Mastercard

Best advert by far for a long time is "The breast feeding Mum" Marmite advert.
Hi Amanda, Ketchup one had me wincing! Was thinking how are they going to do this without being too X-Rated🤭✌️👍

The famous stabbing noise in "Psycho" was a knife into a lettuce.
I've avoided Instagram, but now I'm tempted....damn you, woman 😂
I love the ketchup advertisement
First off ... the thumbnail ...🍌😏 Ketchup ... 😆😆 The rest of the ads were great ! Thanks for the great video Amanda !! 🙃
What are those Italian "Ham Stick" things? I need those! It reminds me of a beef wellington with all the layering going on.
You look like you just woke up today, Amanda! And yet you still look better than most fake 20 something birds 😂❤
It's the british food she eats.
Very good wonderful funny thanks
The ketchup one omg. lol
🤣🤣
Great video as always, Amanda. Love the ketchup and! 😂😂😂
1:23 Here in Ireland the forbidden word for fruit - is fruit 😆
The first Smart was a 2 seats car. He is "afraid" because he is not used that the car has now 4 seats.
THESE WOULD NOT BE ON THE STATES....BUT THEY ARE FUNNY....HAPPY SUNDAY, MYRON DYAL
u should try the "even apeldoorn bellen" commercials some are really good
Like you said you wouldn't get away with some of those adverts. In the UK or US. That being said they where very good.
It was inevitable that his approach would ketchup with him.
Centraal beheer (insurance adds) are the best.
I think several of these ads are probably for competitions or pitches and were never aired as official ads. Especially those in English if they are really for European non-UK markets, as real ads would almost certainly be in the relevant native language.
One advert that was banned was about getting dog breath and was hilarious
