Why did you switch the front forks , since the new ones are so good?

Hi, CV are little longer than stock ones and it gives little more stability in faster sections. I had these as left over from previous bike so wanted to try. Just changed spring rates 4.4NM to 4.6NM, so the front end doesn't dive that much on a corner. Stock ones seems to be very competitive on i would say "normal" enduro type track with rocks and roots.

@@nylanden329 I ve seen JBI doing a leaf type valve conversion for the midvalve and subvalve removing everything cone valve related. It seemed really weird to do that lol since you pay for the cone valves.THey re trying stuff to see what works best for those who already have the cone valves and improve upon those, I ve heard other people say that cone valves can be inconsistent and hard to retain the same settings as a normal shim stack valve. Whats your experience on that? I know they re really good with keeping the harshness of the hard hits. What do you mean by " longer ", upper tube + lower tube + lug has more mm than than stock? That would be interesting, I m 1.97 and could always use more clearence . BTW, really nice riding, the speed you re going through those whoops is nuts. Do you like 24' model? Does the rear feel ok once the tuning has been done? Sorry for the multitude of questions lol. 😄

@@BackHurtsBadiv'e heard that those leaf systems can be quite tricky to get working. I dont know a reason why someone would change cone valve system to the leaf version. As cone valve technology is newer and working great. I think CV needs a lot more knowledge from your suspension tuner than avarage guy if you would compere to traditional forks. Im not sure what do you mean with 'inconsistent' but, i have had not any issues with setting the bike. Yes the forks are longer from lug to outertube top. Gives few cm or inch more ground clearance. 24 bike is better in every way in performance wise. Engine got more throttle response and easier to control. More usable power than 23. For longer guy there is more room to move, easy to stand up etc. And i like how easily it turns. Frame does not feel stiff at all. I think its 4 stroke problem due 'solid' engine mounts.

@@BackHurtsBadAnd the rear needs few "special" modification to get working. There is a lot of friction that can be fixed. For now i feel very comfortable with the rear! Might need little more stiffening, but not much. Need do more testing on rocks and roots.🤘

@@nylanden329 Ok so i’ve gone batshit crazy searching the WP Xplor CC stock equipment that you can clearly see in the manual that it measures 940 mm, now, for the Xact Pro 7548 forks the official WP manual clearly says 940 mm, I ve seen in some pdf from a norway suspension tuner site say 950 but I still trust WP more, on other sites also 940. Could you please measure your travel , maybe you have like a pumped up MX version with 310 mm travel and 950 overall? Do you still have the Xplor CC so you cound maybe do a overall measurement and travel also? This thing made me really curios since you told me this information and also other people think the same but the manuals and official information contradict this. Thank you !
