My favorite Digimon in the past was wargreymon and black wargreymon but because these tow digimons received so much support to the point all the effects are there , I’ve sided with the villein and patiently waiting for a new support
I am hooked with Dandevimon and hope we get support one day , I am buying cases of the set drops with a new Dandevimon in it , and you forgot to mention that Dandevimon is a fallen angle, so the synergy with mastemon is almost there but need a slight edge to be there , the fact it’s opponent turn make the card so slow and unplayable, I hope we get tamer or inherited that make the opponent turns effect all turn once per turn and being able to DNA digivolve into ordinimon and keeping it your turn is so cool , but better to play pure mastemon
I played my Danny boy from the moment he came out till about bt9 (my love for malomyotismon being strongest). I have so many good memories of getting the promo demis (who were being sold for an astronomical price at the time in the $20-40) on the day of the tourney and later going to regionals with it. I did decent but it was always a pretty inconsistent strategy. I did love the final alt art I got though!

Finally I found a video about DanDevimon. I've playing this deck from bt11 and I'm waiting to bt14 for those two cards. For what I've tried all this time with this deck, there's some cards that try to help a little for make more devimons on trash. Starting from rookies, I'm using ST12 sistermon blanc to send DanDevimon to trash as soon is possible, Eyesmon: Scatter mode is a nice card for this deck too if we think about we can use around 22 or 24 "devimons" in the deck. Alice McCoy is a really nice card too, we can use our Demidevimon stack for reduce evo cost and trigger the Demidevimon's inherited effect to bring back DanDevi and make more board presence. Yeah, this decks can be a little slow sometimes but it still interesting to play, a deck that can burn cards in hand can be a pain for some decks, but Dandevimon needs a lot of help to shine. Thanks for this video :D
Its really surprising this deck hasn't been fixed. The shell exists, and with purple focusing on trashing and drawing, this deck plan would be very easy to support Hmmm I wonder what theyll do
BT4 and BT5 was pretty fun with him... But having to deal with Lord Knightmon made it really hard. Seriously that Tier 0 card warped the entire format leaving you with Rookie Rush or Expensive Smackdown. After that it was just forgotten for support.
I think you should talk about the Pulsemon archtype I really wanted make it work but when I would play it the the dependency on the specified security numbers for effects was a shot in the foot an interesting concept that I wonder how it worked for others that played Pulsemon cause it was hard for me
Are you planning on putting something together for the new support? New to the game and was looking at building a Devimon deck that focused on the discard play style that got introduced in EX-7 Barbamon.
Its a shame how hard they dropped the Digimon Adventure reboot theme after the first couple TCG sets. The main villains never even got cards, which I find bizzare because we have gotten like 5 million different Omegamons. Suprised we got a promo demidevimon support for dandevimon but outside of that no real evo line. outside of a bunch of different devimons that honestly support beelzemon's playstyle than what dan seems to be trying to do. The main issue besides having only 1 dedicated mega is that the entire devimon "archetype" is trying to do 50 different things (a similar issue myotismon runs into).
It got new support in B-15. Is it good now? Also funny it's like they watch your videos to decide what gets support cause the same thing happened with leomon it is super good now lol

I play this deck at my locals, love it bought the alt art for DanDevimon but this deck is bad. The deck lacks playables which is made worse by the fact that DemiDevi needs playables in the trash to trigger. I tried playing it more defensively using Wisemon as one of the level 5's. Making DanDevi a blocker in theory makes a lot of sense but there are a lot of problems with that as well. One is the fact you're diluting the consistency of the deck by not running enough Devimon names for the PromoDevi and the other is that you're not really applying any pressure as a blocker and sometimes you're forced to trade DanDevi before you set up the trash whcih is made worse by the fact that Dan is forced to trade with anything that is able to check multiple securities. If you get his by security plus one early in the game or even with DanDevi out the game is pretty much over, it's hard to regain control when your ability perks by "falling behind". This deck needs another playable Dandevi that functions as an offensive piece or plays into the fact that DemiDevi's float effect doesn't stop On Play effects. DigiPanda made a what if video that plays with the idea of Devimon support and I think the playstyle is very obvious it just lacks to the tools to execute what should be obvious to people. You also didn't mention it but I think the new DemiDevi from bt15 is actually really good for this deck. The fact it can add itself or if you're desperate the ex-1 DemiDevi to hand and then dump a name into grave is really good, and then giving retaliation as an inheritable is great for the blocker Devimon or if there will be future ways to give Dan blocker as a way to trade with large body digimon.
There is a lack of money and to be able to buy better cards for my Mastemon deck, I put a DanDevimon and a Venusmon in it, they make a good combo and help a lot. I'm surprised no one honestly plays it :/
i did my dandevimon deck with megidramon because you can get megidramon killed then play a free gallantmon from trash then use the promo demidevimon and play dandevi hey yooooo two megas for price of one 🤭
I'd like to report that ever since your ragnalord video, I've made my deck good enough to stand up to the current meta shinegreymon deck, with a solid 50% w ratio, same against the beelzemon deck. I didn't even double buy the starer deck, just threw in some double color monochromon blockers, a gaiomon as a faster duranda clone, and skip the second pile for the dna fusion by hard playing the second mega when in a pinch.
I think it was actually a meta contender a bit during the second wave of starter decks that gave it digiburst support, but since digiburst has almost been completely abandoned by bandai, its fallen by the wayside.

This is an Archetype that is shocking the lack of support. Devimon is one of iconic Digimons. It's weird that Bandai never did something with it.
