A cooler mod would be someone just making new tracks for the original game with the same crazy ai and original graphics. Not in wreckfest or anything but in the superior original dd2
As this is the PSX version, you can't technically 'mod' the game, but there are codes that allow you to drive the CPU cars. It does make the game a bit unstable, though. I've never done it myself but a quick google search and you'll find all the information to get it to work
@@CallumConnor-zx2rg Just doing a small search on TH-cam and there are a metric tonne of videos of people driving the CPU cars, most use gameshark codes, but there's loads available
@@Dan-Bartlett Yeah I meant like a video showing how to do the codes, find them ect. it looks complicated. But that might just be me being a bit thick😂
@@CallumConnor-zx2rg I honestly wouldn't know how to do it, but I'm assuming they all run the game through an emulator. I've never actually tried it out myself
I played this game so much as a kid
It still holds up really well today. Amazingly good fun!
@@Dan-Bartlett Started playing it again yesterday
@@FellianTheDragon Does the first chord of Joyrider still stir up those old memories? It sure does for me!
Great game, even today its fun to play at DD2^^
It's such a shame Reflections and Psygnosis never made more of these types of games. They were so damn awesome!
The game out in 1996 I was born when it came out
That mod you mentioned was released, although I prefer the actual games myself.

Is there a mod where you can play as the other car colours instead of the main ones?

@@Dan-Bartlett Thank you Dan. You should upload a TH-cam video actually doing the coded, nobody has done that yet, thanks anyway🙌
