As a UNI grad in the PHI Filipinos passed evry exam in whatever profession anywhere in the world, me and my wife passed UK exams, my relatives in the US did passed licensure, professional exams etc. Its a win-win studying in the Philippines its affordable
What our Egyptian friend probably is talking about is scholarships. Most countries like the Philippines have scholarships with free tuitions for students who got high grades until they finished their studies.
so many positive factors that you study in philippines, cheap to study, education system is well recognize to world, challenge to speak english and learn so that you can use it also in working abroad. you can achieve your dream job and tell your mom its affordable to study in ph. after you can tour around islands after you graduate.
Philippines has State Universities but not all can enroll in these Universities, only those who have high grades will be allowed to take the entrance exam. Though you've got high general average grades in your High School but didn't pass the entrance exam, you can't be admitted.
I have three foreign classmate from Papua new guinea in the NSTP subject and they are studying BSHM... we are a state uni (Mindanao State University-Iligan Institute of Technology / MSU-IIT) which means no tuition fee but we are one of the top 10 uni here in ph and we are also ISO certified.
I guess the main thing they come to study in the Philippines because of the English language that is taught in the schools and also affordable for some foreigners. Once they finished their careers it’s easy for them to work in US or any European countries because they already learned English in the Philippines.
One good thing about the Philippines is that people are very welcoming and are not racist. They respect all races. Sometimes their the ones being ostracized in their own country.
here in the philippines if you want to enroll in good university like University of the philippines and other university you can pass it like to a hole of a needle I mean if you are got a higher grades and you àre a valedictorian in high school and if you were passed to the university entrance test absolutely you can enroll but in UP almost 104,000 will take the exam but only 15,000 will succeed to pass..
You're very correct, and there are also schools in the Pihilippines that 'hardly' accept international students, few schools though. Thanks for sharing🧡🧡
Philippines and Egypt are the same . govt universities are free to those students who meet the requirements, there's a lot like UP PUP TUP and all provincial states universities.
I don't know if you heard about alternatives learning system I hope you vlog our alternatives leaning system which is priorities those people who don't finished thier study and so many of our adults are graduates tru this system and that I am really proud off.. because our government give way to those people who don't have chance to finished their study back in time..and that are totally free what ever age you are in you can still go to school tru this alternatives learning system thank you in advance ❤❤❤❤ love lots
Question. How do African graduates in the Philippines are viewed back in your home country? From your high school batchmates and colleagues? When starting your practice or applying for jobs? Do you have an unfair advantage or disadvantage over those that studied back home? This would be interesting to know.
Universities in the Philippines have their own rates and therefore not necessarily all are cheap. There are universities like San Beda University, De La Salle University, Ateneo de Manila University, UP Dilaman University, etc. are among some of the most expensive universities in Asia. South Koreans ranked the highest number of foreign students studying here in our universities mentioned above.
Huh? UP Diliman is a government-funded institution. Once a student passes UPCAT and gets admitted, the government/taxpayers will pay for most of the students' tuition.
UP Diliman, is a state university, meaning it is owned by the government, and once you pass the UPCAT exams, you will be qualified to enroll with free tuition fee and maintaining high grades....UP is govt institution....
Nurse Ruth. Let's clear up the notion that Schooling in the Philippines is Cheap. We have expensive Schools if they so choose. The advantage of the Philippines is that one can MATCH their budget to the school they can afford. Provincial Schools vs Metropolitan Schools in Manila. That's the bottom line. Another thing, Cheap means two things 1, Cost 2, Fly by night diploma mill.
Yeah, you're right, and another point is, what may be cheap to one indvidual, may not be cheap to another. But generally speaking, for now, Philippines is affordable.
All Philippine state universities are also free. Before, it was subsidized by the government. But when president Duterte came into position, he made tuition fee in all state U free.
Thank you also Miss Ruth for this wonderful interview, as a Filipino working and living in other country , to watch this kind of interview from other nationalities makes me happy for them...👍
Hello. Could you also please make a video about the quality of education in the Philippines? I'm wondering if the cheaper option for foreign students is worth the quality of education. Thank you so much ❤
Welcome to the Philippines guys and enjoy your stay in our humble country , thank you also for choosing the Philippines as your choice of your study abroad ,we really appreciate it...Greetings from Hong Kong....
the reality is, we Filipinos love foreigners coming here, no matter what your race is, because we only have one race, the human race, so you are all welcome here
Let's be honest, most of these students couldn't get admitted into their home schools. Good public school need grades and if you don't have the grades then you opt for abroad. This also happens western countries. Example George Walker Bush. Africa has many great universities. It's not that they going abroad for highly specialized field like nanotechnology, splitting atoms, or other highly specialized medical fields. To become a doctor, nurse, dentist, you don't need to go abroad. Few of them go abroad thinking foreign countries have better education, basically colonial brainwash. I don't meant to insult or degrade these students but I had to be fair to Africa. I am sure some of them had legitimate reasons for not getting admitted into their home schools.
Would you believe that Philippines economy go side by side with USA n before our exchange before for one dollar is 50 only but due to America inflation plus Ukraine Russia war the present exchange rate now is 61
That's my question hahaha. Thank you!

Indeed Filipinos are welcoming, you see almost all the International students I interviewed mentioned that.

Some are racist. 🙄 I can be racist if I wanted too. Welcoming? Yes! To foreigners only. Pero kung sa kapwa Pilipino, hindi.
Speaking English and a cheaper price to study I am sure has something to do with it.
Uh sir the reason why we’re not racist is because we can just be racist to our fellow Filipinos instead of being racist to foreigners

The best to stay and study in the Philippines is in Cebu City than in Manila. And other key cities.

baguio city is the best place to study
Because Manila is fully congested compared to Cebu...
Hi I'm moving to PH in a few months, where do most Africans go to school there? Are there African meet up groups?
Which universities or colleges accept international students and NO ENTRANCE EXAMS in the Philippines?
Send a DM if you need my agency to help you with that. Thanks
