I have commented before on how great you are at your tutorials. You make it a lot easier for us new carvers to understand. Your step by step methods really help me. My very first bear I made was because of watching one of your videos....... a thousand times. Then I went outside and did it. You seem very sincere which I appreciate very much. keep doing what you're doing. I love it. I just liked and subscribed by the way !!

Just started carving last week with an MS170. I can’t thank you enough for your videos! I had issues with perception/cuts so I bought some clay I’m going to work with. Thanks Kyle!

Love your videos. I have ms170 with the 12" carving bar. But, have not tried carving anything yet. It's hard to see the lines you are drawing in that pink color. Darker color would be better. I really appreciate your tutorials.

@@KyleHallwoodworker YoYou are brave to work in these temperatures! I can't wait to get my chainsaw back and start over and over trying to pull off a bear like yours! I watched all your tutorials several times and they are so well explained! But I haven't succeeded yet, practice and practice again! At some point the click will happen and I will get there! Thank you for all these tips and the time you put in for us, much appreciated! ☺

I would be interested in the sand flex extension.

Thanks for the videos! Interested in the extension chuck wi/hand hold for the flap sander. Darn hard to find, except maybe a tool company in England has one. I thought about getting a long bolt or all thread (3/8 -24?) that would fit an old or replacement Jacobs chuck. Then you'd have to drill out a piece of hard plastic or aluminum for the handle. Not super hard to do, but kind of a pain.

Great video! Just out of curiosity, what would you sell that carving for? Is that a 30 dollar carving? More? I plan on following this tutorial and ill probably end up with 8 to 10 of them and if some come out good I would try selling them so I can get a better chainsaw. So again, just curious. Thanks

      $30 -$50 I’d say if you’re just starting out try $30

Great videos! I’m learning a ton and they are fun to watch. Question - do you finish off with a polyurethane for protection? Thanks!

Thank you glad you are enjoying them .
Yes I seal / finish carvings with an exterior polyurethane made by Minwax .
