Omg she is GORGEOUS. I am not a huge fan of bays, but her color is so rich and deep, and her head is so expressive. I like how she's built too! How old is she? Good luck with her!

I havent had horses for years..id about give anything just to sniff one ( lol im sure you got what i mean , new cars, new babies, puppy breath , and horse smell..a police officer let me sniff his horse..everyone else thought it was wierd..he " got" it..( i wasent running up to pet it, he said i know youre being respectful, you can pet him..i said can i sniff him? He laughed and said you used to have horses..of course you can, i get it. The cute thing was, he lowered his head in my hands and our forheads were touching and he said he really likes you. He only does that with me. He tolerates people, i tolerate people. Now i know how you feel when you connect with your mustangs..its the best feeling ever to have something so powerful, connect with you .
I loved the little red roan boy that was in one of the first pens, I saw your mare too! I would have loved to have the little red guy but he was returned because of a kicking problem! Did you see him?

I don't think the week or so delay is a bad thing. She had a week to recover from the trip, adjust to the new smells and sounds, and get more comfortable with her new spot.
I don't know if I like her, but she has a long neck and an expressive eye, like an Arab. I think she will provide a bigger challenge than your last couple horses

If you haven't picked a name yet might I suggest Garnet or Ruby? Her coat is so red.
