The best Elementalist cards are the ones no one else can splash for. Half the game is capable of running Vampire, but what about Kingswood Poachers to remove all the problematic endgame Beasts from your opponent's deck? Almost no Fire decks can afford something as slow and clunky as Hillock Basilisk, so people aren't used to playing around its constant lockdown. Elementalist gets all the best midrange cards and all the best answers, with a turn 2 Browse or Tithe being more than possible. Almost any Knight in the game becomes an afterthought inclusion, and King Arthur requires no support at all. Now if only there were more than five people on Earth who actually played this game.
Yeah knights are generally pretty good and some people prefer Elementalist over Templar in the knight deck just for the ease of casting them. Things like Browse and Tithe are easier to cast with Elementalist but they'll still lock you into their elements to some extent. So they're not as "splashable" as lesser threshold cards. Also in regards to the Basilisk, "slow and clunky" are not characteristics of any card I want to play haha
@roaringturkey Oh, the Disable effect is worth it. You can shut off an entire column, break their center line, hold a chokepoint, corner the enemy or keep them from escaping a Black Plague hotbox.
I definitely look forward to this list being expanded
Great analysis, thank you!
Glad you liked it! Thanks for watching.
Great video!!!
Thanks! Glad you liked it, more to come!
Yeah Flamecaller was definitely buffed in Arthurian Legends
