4:05 It's likely the shim that goes on top of the cover, Chris King uses a nylon shim, it helps to not scratch it, and also to align the handlebar. So it's possible that's the same idea.

What's the change in wheelbase adding the angled headset and the new fork? Was the offset of the new fork longer as well? Turned it into an Enduro geometry frame!
Hey wolftick, I have a question, I have a GT aggressor pro. I just picked it up 3 months ago, and I think the stock fork is toast. I'm looking for an upgrade on a budget. But I'm wondering if my weight would be a factor as I'm 250ish lbs.
A Rockshox Judy is a great upgrade at a decent price for straight steerer tube headsets and does really well with higher air pressures for bigger riders, I have one on my Gary Fischer Opie mullet build and it feels awesome, Rockshox has a really good app for helping set up the fork without a bunch of guesswork

The offset headset is such a gamechanger especially for for anyone that's progressing and needs a little more stability on faster trails

You need to put the angle finder on the stansion. The lowers are not always straight.
We actually did, and the actual headtube as well, but it got cut out of the final edit. All measurements were the same. Thanks for the comment. 👍🏻
I have the Judy gold on my axum, great budget fork imo. A lil more expensive but it is light,
