It was cut on May 1st so it was good and hardened off! We were so excited to see it planted, and you did an amazing job! It couldn't have gone to a better home, and we're anxious to see it grow! Thank you for sharing and for being such a wonderful role model and human being. What a wonderful gift to kick off Pride month! 💚
99.9K subs! nearly there Laura, congratulations, so excited for the tour! Wondering if these are pre-recorded video. Anywho, Congratulations, thank you for making the world a lil bit greener! 👏 🎉
I love you Laura. I’ve watched you for years and I’ve learned SO MUCH if not almost everything about succulents from you!! And my partner has fallen in love with you too lol we watch you almost every night before bed. That’s what I’m doing now actually😂 You helped me realize my artist eye in landscape, you taught me how to care care of my first succulent babies 7 years ago, that I still have today. I had a pretty hard day today. I finally got diagnosed PSTD and I finally feel seen and heard with that diagnosis. I see the similarities between us, when I watch your videos because I feel like you’ve always been a friend. Even online is enough, though I’d love to volunteer for you one day. When I start your videos I get instantly happy. I love you Laura. Thank you for all that you do for this world❤️ much love from a obsessed plant momma in IL. Thank you for always being so supportive towards people. Even with your trauma you have found what makes you happy and you do it everyday. Grounding is very important. That’s something I’m learning. You help ground me when I need it. You are so strong, you deserve all the happiness life can bring you. ❤️
wow, what an amazing and interesting plant!! the more i watch, the more i realize how little i know... every day a plant that's new to me - fun!! it looks fantastic in this pot (hey, Greg, the word "fantastic" is a good one to use, too 😉😉)... 🤩🤩🤩
I love picking detritus out of my rock garden! Thank you for sharing your talent. My husband and I are installing a dry stream. We garden deep in the Midwest but using your design elements with our hardy sedums and hens and chicks!
I feel you! I spend my weekend picking up leaves from the neighbors tree. BTW it was so nice to bumping in to you guys yesterday at McCloud Falls trail.
Although i love watching you create magic in the landscape designs it just dawned on me that the most loved videos for me are walk around Wednesdays, sunday funday and when you pot up something special in your garden. I just love the garden. Love your sense of humour. And i suspect its not just Greg but Husbands period. Good. Fine. Okay. So great is actually a great compliment. Love the lactea crest in d red pot.
I cannot seem to find fire glass anywhere... But in my search, I came across crushed sea shells. I am in love with it now. It adds such an ethereal element to the rock.
Soooo beautiful the red pot against that blue fire glass makes the succulent look like a rockstar. I noticed that you're only 1k subscribers away to 100K look forward to that ranch tour!!!!
Oh, and on another note, you are Brandon's spirit animal. We were planting Angelonia in the front beds earlier, and he wound up pulling stray grass that had popped up in the bed for about 20 minutes before we ever planted the Angelonia. 😆
Laura, love love love you and your work. Love this gorgeous gem you have planted. Do not love it with that blue fire glass (and yes, I do like fire glass), it's fighting the beautiful green variation and rose of this gorgeous crest. I thought you might be adding the white flat rock you had off to the side of your project...hmm, please reconsider. ?? (I'll watch again tomorrow, and see if it has grown on me...I want to love it)
I am one of your more recent viewers. And love watching your arrangements. I am not the biggest fan of fireglass. Although they are growing on me (slowly) after watching some of your videos :) This one though i feel the plant is dwarfed by the other bold colors of the glass and pot. And makes the hero look dull :( . But that's me and if I ever buy this beauty I would definitely use a top dressing that would make the plant stand out.
Gazing upon my cacti balcony collection : “You’ve done your job!” automatic reply 😂 😂😂 any recommendations for Agaves in pots? Coastal 9B, severe S winds are biggest problem aside from being containers bound.
Beautiful crest! Laura, as an avid gardener, I have a hard time keeping my hands and nails clean. I don’t like to wear gloves because I like to feel the soil but my hands always look dirty even when they’re clean. Do you or your viewers have any tips?
I’ve heard that if you scratch a bar of soap with your fingernails (thereby filling your nails with soap slivers), you prevent dirt from getting in there. Thus, when you finally wash your hands, the soap comes out and you have clean nails. 😀
I’m curious why you don’t add perlite or some other gritty mix to your succulent soil? I read everywhere that potting soil and even standard succulent soil is not gritty enough and doesn’t drain fast enough.
laura - that crest needs a very small container - and would survive just sitting on some dg...I have one I've had for years - it keeps cresting and sits in the same soil in a pot that is about the same size as the crested plant...I never water it...should you change your mind on that big pot you used in this video- you can also just sit it on that susan aach pot! ;) anyhow - you might want to downsize the pot - that is waay too much soil and in the winter rains - the euphorbia will not want to be in a wet base...it is a very very slow growing plant...

Now I want one!!!! LOL
That is so cool 😎
I would love to see a video dedicated to you only picking up detritus from one section of your garden. That would be a fun video.🎉
Super spectacular.

Greetings from Juneau, Alaska where it’s currently 84 degrees!
I'm a newbie and have been enjoying following you. BTW I love your cat t-shirt.
Thanks and welcome!
lactea would have looked great in the blue pot with the blue cactus
99.9 Laura! 99.9! Get ready to celebrate!
9:20 you’ve done your job❕
Lilac colored pots are best for that crest color. 🤗

omg 99.9k 💥
I love your cat t-shirt. 🐈 I'm a cat person and would call it my "Succulent Cat" shirt! I wish I knew where you got it!
Gazing upon my cacti balcony collection : “You’ve done your job!” automatic reply 😂 😂😂 any recommendations for Agaves in pots? Coastal 9B, severe S winds are biggest problem aside from being containers bound.
I've killed one of those too, but they are beautiful! 🤣
I know this was gifted, beautiful. 👍 I have succulents here n there for 5 yrs, alas.. No crest.😔 What is the trick, secret or reason?
😍
Beautiful crest! Laura, as an avid gardener, I have a hard time keeping my hands and nails clean. I don’t like to wear gloves because I like to feel the soil but my hands always look dirty even when they’re clean. Do you or your viewers have any tips?
Embrace it, Jane😊🤪

I actually like watching you removing weed. It look enjoyable when you doing it.
You are so cute.
I am the 6th viewer for this posting hahahah
Woohoo🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
I live up 30miles west of Manteca and my lactea didn't like the alot of sun and heat moved it inside
Omg i cant believe i missed u in Roseville 😭. When you coming back to sac?🙌 Happy pride month btw
I LOVE fireglass!!! But cant buy it anywhere. If anyone is from south africa and knows where to get some please let me know.
How does it root when it's not planted deep in the red pot?
It figures it out😊
🙋
I am as OCD as you are😂😂😂😂
I’m curious why you don’t add perlite or some other gritty mix to your succulent soil? I read everywhere that potting soil and even standard succulent soil is not gritty enough and doesn’t drain fast enough.
It’s because she lives in California. Succulents will survivor freshly cut in sopping wet soil there, I swear. The rules don’t really apply there.
Absolutely Amazing...I killed one :(
Megusta mucho tusvodeos
