Fellow BPD haver here, completely agree! His behavior has been so consistent since season 1 and I see so much of the way I am in him. If the writers truly did set out to write him as having BPD then people need to understand that him changing his behavior overnight was just never going to happen. Every day is a struggle to avoid situations that can make you split and we only ever see Jake in an extremely triggering environment where people constantly prey on his insecurities and paranoia. Seeing Ashley be so supportive of Jake, even as his horrible decisions get her eliminated from the competition was actually really cathartic for me, and what I wish I'd seen from Tom back in season 1 (and why I don't think Tomjake should ever be a thing). There aren't a lot of people who'd be willing to support someone with a condition that makes them so prone to self sabotage, but Ashley is clearly built different and I hope she and Jake stay friends after the competition is over (no shade to people who couldn't handle someone with BPD ofc, it's no one's responsibility to endure that). I think no matter how upset they get at each other, they will wait until after one more "hero" is voted out and prevent a tie situation on the next vote before voting anybody among themselves. Then again, Gabby and Riya are a touch emotional about how they play the game... There's also the confirmed rejoining of somebody to consider, even though we've no idea who it'll be.

After seeing this episode and looking back on the season. I'm really starting to see a lot of parallels between Magenta and Cyan. Both have two members of a Season 2 trio (Magenta: Ally and Hunter), (Cyan: Aiden and Lake), with the third being on the other team (James and Tess). Both have one villain from Season 1 (Fiore and Ellie) Ashley and Fiore's relationship is basically the same as Tom and Ellie's, basically hating each other's guts, not to mention both Ashley and Tom celebrated after getting their enemy eliminated. Jake and Fiore, and Gabby and Ellie also share a similar relationship, only flipped, where Fiore will vote for whoever Jake says, while Gabby will vote for whoever Ellie says. Fiore's is out of necessity, while Gabby's is out of love. Ashley and Tom have very similar roles, being there to comfort the member of the trio after they lost their friend, Ashley comforts Ally, and Tom comforts Aiden. Also, both these interactions get on Jakes nerves. Jake and Gabby also have a similar plot, both are mentally unwell, and have a grudge against Aiden. After this episode, they've also both lost someone who's been helping them with their mental issues. However, Gabby went to the evil side after Ellie's elimination, while I'm pretty sure Jake's going to the good side after Ashley's. And there's many others.
I understand Jake is really difficult this season BUT people also need to hold Aiden accountable. He isn't really trying either and always hates on Jake for "cheating" but did it himself in the very first challenge... TO JAKE and laughs it off as a part of the game. Jake mostly messed with him in the challenge to gain an advantage, which is fair game. The only time he actively tried to mess with him for no real reason was during the water-slide challenge, here Aiden started the beef by calling him predictable and assuming things. BOTH are not that good this season but Jake at least has a development where Aiden feels the same (which is okay since he is supposed to be the down-to-earth person) but still. I mostly see Jake hate and no accountablity for Aiden's behavior. And you can't tell me he actually mistook someone else for Jake: Blue hair, pink shirt, pale skin. No one is the villains alliance even comes close to him. Tom at least couldn't see since he was hiding behind a tree.

As a Jake fan, I’m losing my cool with Jake like why are the writers like this, they could have squashed the issue right and there with the talk of Tom and Jake…
Welp the goes the only person I was rooting for 😭😭😭😭 Oh Ashley your fate was sealed the moment you befriended Jake. Now who am I rooting for next? This might be controversial but I really hope Jake redeems himself, I’ve been thinking about it and the only way Jake or the heroes can win is if they play dirty. Thing Jake could do to get the upper hand: -take advantage of the wedge between Yul and Grett. -use Alec’s reverse psychology on Gabby “once we are gone, who do you think will go next?” -even if he finds a totem he still needs to swallow his pride and sit down with Ally, Tom and Aiden and plan how to use it. -Maybe he can make Yul loose his composure or push people down like Riya has been doing, basically getting back at them for every time they messed with him before. (just like when he got revenge on Aiden from the sad bird incident) -but the best way Jake can redeem himself is if he gives part of the price money to Ashley… now let’s see how long this prediction lasts 😂😂😂
While I can get not being crazy about the “therapy session”, this season, when Grett got confirmed, did state they wanted to cover “sensitive topic” this season while hoping to handle this mindfully. While you debate can how well or poorly they are doing with this, having at least a therapy focused with one episode minimum is to be expected. With sensitive topic, they specifically mentioned weight loss when they revealed Grett on the cast early. However, you can question the execution of that. While weight loss factors into this, they have been highlighting more body image than actual weight loss so far.
Before you suggest to Tess that she could have lied about having an immunity totem, Gabby’s lie l, while it worked for now, is likely going to bite her later, and the person who may bust Gabby on her lie may be the host herself. While animated reality shows are looser on this, such being able to steal someone else’s idol/totem, and contestant could possibly get away with in earlier years on reality shows (though not so much now for new shows), lying about a power or advantage that isn’t officially or normally (Like Survivor’s immunity idol but not the totems on DC as they have announced in some way before being found and even searched for) is prohibited on the player’s part on the vast majority of reality shows today.
Through several episodes and people noting Jake having the most lines so far this season, people have thought of Jake to maybe be the winner or the main protagonist of the seasons. While the past few episodes seems like he was improving, the cracks were also there of Jake having deeper issues that haven’t been resolved (which some those issues can possibly be consolidated of a core issues of attachment), and with episode played out, and even some animosity Jake has towards Aiden himself that doesn’t involve Tom. Aiden is also over emotional, as shown in the episode, but he can call truce if the other person is willing to. Jake seeing someone he just hates bond with an ex of his is what causes Jake’s blood over in envy. Also, Jake wanting to quit after screwing over Ashely also highlights Jake lacks inner resolves. With how this episode went down with Jake, and how guilt has been reflect through multiple characters this season, I starting to think this episode was having Jake possibly shift to become one of the main antagonists (possibly even villain depending on how he is handled) of the season.
We all knew she wasn't gonna win before the episode, but we still are mad about the loss of our Cowgirl Ashley, I hope there is a comeback and she comes back
9:33 nice touch with the duck squeak Billy! And I agree with you about Riya. Looks like it turns out that Yul and Riya are way too spoiled due to their behaviour. Feel bad for Trevor missing Emily. I hope things went well for Trevek. #Couplegoals (I hope..) Awesome job as usual with your voice acting for Trevor though
Honestly, I just hope after this episode Jake really wakes up. Maybe after this he'll start trying to really win the game because he wants to play for Ashley, I really think that's the only way he can redeem himself at this point. Come on Jake! Play to get the price money for your best girl!
28:28 F*CKING THANK YOU! He’s done nothing but give zero chances and provokes Jake. Aiden is salty because they were opps before and Jake keeps dunking on him cause he was trying to pull his weight for his own team at the time. YOU CANT BE TALKING SHIT AIDEN. Skill issue fr..
I can why people like the silliness of Gabby going villain, but my concern is Gabby is going about this that may a little too cartoonish. Compared to Riya, Gabby being cartoonish a bit can make sense, but the similarities and issue how Riya derailed into a cartoonish villain at the end of S2 are also there. Something has to reel her in. Otherwise, it is almost like there reverting her back to her old erratic self when the pint of remake was progress her from being erratic to more intuitive of when to act impulsively and even when to be more logical, like how she was in episode 2.
Even since Oliver busted Emily, people having hating him as snitch. However, that is a bit over hate and a bit hypocrisy. Oliver not doing that would more out of character if he didn’t do that. Notably, people are overlooking Emily was in charge of the editing of the footage. So, she was in a position where she could have covered her tracks. Her getting caught pretty badly either implies she didn’t care that much about her job or is going to later reveal how much she actually didn’t do it. Even if you love Emily, you can question why it was necessary to add a new production character when they is already 6 maybe 7 on this end. Nearly everything she was part of could have been divided among other characters. If Emily’s serving a later purpose, then it needed to hinted at it before her termination. In addition to the subplot being the thinnest out of all season and even versions, there have been only 2 out of 10 episodes that have highlight some subplot so far.
There was no official prep time, but presumably everyone stuck to their original teams, and everyone was given a little time to spread our before they start firing.
Since you mentioned Inanimate Insanity Nick Lee thing, I want to mention this. Also, spoliers ahead. Inanimate Insanity, they would later reverse their decision to eliminate Lightbulb instead of Nickel in a later episode.

Thing Jake could do to get the upper hand:
-take advantage of the wedge between Yul and Grett.
-use Alec’s reverse psychology on Gabby “once we are gone, who do you think will go next?”
-even if he finds a totem he still needs to swallow his pride and sit down with Ally, Tom and Aiden and plan how to use it.
-Maybe he can make Yul loose his composure or push people down like Riya has been doing, basically getting back at them for every time they messed with him before. (just like when he got revenge on Aiden from the sad bird incident)
-but the best way Jake can redeem himself is if he gives part of the price money to Ashley… now let’s see how long this prediction lasts 😂😂😂
"A very gang gang episode" YES
Billy, you have fully pushed the Tremely agenda on me
I was DEVISTATED to see Emily go :(
Through several episodes and people noting Jake having the most lines so far this season, people have thought of Jake to maybe be the winner or the main protagonist of the seasons.
Jake and Aiden both play with their emotions but Jake does it like 5x more
15:43 to 16:11 This whole segment had me dying!😂
7:28 almost lol
The thing with the merge screen, is that it wouldve been in perfect alphabetical order, had Grett, Gabby, and Jake switched places.
We all knew she wasn't gonna win before the episode, but we still are mad about the loss of our Cowgirl Ashley, I hope there is a comeback and she comes back
WE LOST 2 BADDIES THIS EPISODE NOOO
Trevor, you said that Riya needs to be eliminated because she is too clever.
Im calling it again, a grett and Gabby friendship.
9:33 nice touch with the duck squeak Billy! And I agree with you about Riya. Looks like it turns out that Yul and Riya are way too spoiled due to their behaviour. Feel bad for Trevor missing Emily. I hope things went well for Trevek. #Couplegoals (I hope..)
Awesome job as usual with your voice acting for Trevor though
27:01 This is taking me out
Ur easily my favourite voice actor of the show and Trevor is easily one of my favs (I have two favs lol)
16:36 GANG GANG
the fact that at the end of season 1 Jake was a tier B character for me and now is a very low F tier💀💀
just found out that you had a channel. i love the video, definitely a gang gang moment
Honestly, I just hope after this episode Jake really wakes up. Maybe after this he'll start trying to really win the game because he wants to play for Ashley, I really think that's the only way he can redeem himself at this point. Come on Jake! Play to get the price money for your best girl!
LITERALLY. If jake doesnt get a character development this time the writers just hate him and cant write him properly
Just cuz its silly Billy makes this reaction better 😂🤗🤩
Too be honest I don't even want Jake to have a redemption arc at this point.
30:24 OMG SILLY BILLY! R U PSYCHIC?!?
holddd on i literally just replied to one of your comments on another video 😭😭
28:28 F*CKING THANK YOU! He’s done nothing but give zero chances and provokes Jake. Aiden is salty because they were opps before and Jake keeps dunking on him cause he was trying to pull his weight for his own team at the time. YOU CANT BE TALKING SHIT AIDEN. Skill issue fr..
when emily got fired i cried a bit 😭😭
I can why people like the silliness of Gabby going villain, but my concern is Gabby is going about this that may a little too cartoonish. Compared to Riya, Gabby being cartoonish a bit can make sense, but the similarities and issue how Riya derailed into a cartoonish villain at the end of S2 are also there. Something has to reel her in. Otherwise, it is almost like there reverting her back to her old erratic self when the pint of remake was progress her from being erratic to more intuitive of when to act impulsively and even when to be more logical, like how she was in episode 2.
24:23 honestly i love trevemily they are one of my top 5 ships now ❤
I just love their dynamic and how much it can bring no matter what form it takes
7:29 the final 3 😭 that would be really funny tbf
Well, it's already ruled out.
Almost
In addition to the subplot being the thinnest out of all season and even versions, there have been only 2 out of 10 episodes that have highlight some subplot so far.
her elimination made me rant on twt and I've never done that for any of them before lmao
There was no official prep time, but presumably everyone stuck to their original teams, and everyone was given a little time to spread our before they start firing.
Since you mentioned Inanimate Insanity Nick Lee thing, I want to mention this. Also, spoliers ahead.
Inanimate Insanity, they would later reverse their decision to eliminate Lightbulb instead of Nickel in a later episode.
the "it's not gay if we're wearing socks...".GUY'S YUL WAS WEARING SOCKS HE'S GAY
So is Tom, Jake & Aiden...
Rip the person i was rooting for😭
I swear Jake is complete shit this season tbh
Especially this ep
Not that Jake was much better in season 1
16:36 🤘 GANG GANG 🤘
When she reacted to Allies “GANG GANG”, I cringed. I also cringed in episode 4 when hunter Yelled “EASY MONAY!!” And when Jake yelled “Buckets!” In episode 9.
SILLY BILLY!!!❤❤❤❤
BEFORE that ONC uploading a original episode on youtube:
"AIDEN"
AFTER that SillyBilly uploading a episode on youtube video reaction:
"IDEN"
32:37
LMAO WHAT IS THIS
My version is usually a pre-release version, so it must've actually been a typo xD
POOR TREVOR 😭😭😭
16:08 had me cackling ew ooo yucky😂
Not gonna lie I have never been so happy with the elim this episode I smashed my screen protector I was so happy…
Oh no.
Another possibility is instead of Yul predictably getting turned on is that comebacks happen, unlikely but not impossible.
2:57 Play in 2x speed
i want aiden to finally go home😭😭 or ally. and a villain should win😍 also i can’t with how kristal screamed „security“😭😭
32:47 INIAMATE INSANITY
