    I have to Deregister my company because of CC. It’s, possibly, one of the most painful business exercises I have to undertake. Never thought a failed business would make a grown man cry. Pain

    Hi, my company from 2021 is getting deregistered because we havent filed any tax returns we never made any money using that company and we want it to get deregistered but sars has given us a notice to saying to pay up in the next 5 days, how can we go about resolving this issue?

      Hi Jake. I trust that you are well.
      You will need to “file” for tax returns and disclose that the company was dormant. That will automatically mean you don’t owe SARS anything. Then you can file to deregister your company with CIPC. Once that deregistration process is done with CIPC, you can then submit a letter to SARS to notify them that your company no longer exists. Then SARS should stop bothering you. 🙂

    Hi. I would like to deregister my NPC. I am aware that you have to include a letter of SARS that your company has no assets. Can I send the cipc document proving that the company has no assets?

    Do you know if it's possible to get Tax clearance certificate after NEW company registration ONLINE?

      Hey Amanda. I hope you’re well.
      Once new company has been registered you’re automatically registered for tax. You can then register your business on efiling but of late you can’t really complete that process unless you visit a branch first where you can then also get your TCC.

    Hi Athenkosi, does the deregisteration of a dormant company by CIPC due to failure to pay annual returns affect other companies that you're a director in? Or will you still be allowed to register another company?

    • @Entryprenear
      @Entryprenear  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello, it will only affect that one company. So yes, you can register or continue to operate any other company.

    Hi Athe, I hope you're well. I tried registering a company on 2020, however,I wasn't able to complete the entire registration and so far the last document I obtained during the process is a tax clearance and as such, I didn't even make a bank account. I just wanna know why does SARS NEED me to submit a tax return? I mean, I'm no longer interested in running a business, till further notice and I'd also like to deregister it to clear off my name. Any advice?

    • @Entryprenear
      @Entryprenear  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Matae. I’m well thank you and i trust that you are too.
      As of 2020 when you register a company SARS automatically picks it up and your business is immediately registered for tax. For the mere fact that your company is still registered; SARS automatically thinks it’s in operation and as a result requires you to file for tax. Because your company was dormant; when filing your returns, where it requires figures you’ll just put 0. This will show SARS that your company was dormant.
      You are able to deregister your company and once that process is done; you can then submit the final documents to SARS to show them that your company no longer exists. When you are ready to register a business again; you can do so.

      Will it affect anything other than the company if I get deregistered due to non-compliance but still file tax returns?
