Great video. Seeing your back up camera video, yes it's a resolution thing. The factory camera was designed for your factory smaller screen. Now the image is blown up to a bigger screen and you can see the video distortion. Better aftermarket camera should fix that.🤙🏽
I have this same radio in my 2017 Silverado. I haven't had any issues updating the firmware wirelessly as you mentioned though. I also have 2 down firing subs under my rear seat also. We have very similar setups.
@@rohastechreviews I had to have the update screen open on the unit when I initiated the update from my phone for it to work. Otherwise, it just kept timing out and failing.
just a fyi there is a new firmware update 3.0 out for this unit? and does the fire stick stop working when you start driving or put it in gear ? Thanks for the vid..
The lag is so damn annoying. IDK why these manufacturers use shitty cheap chips still. The radios do so much and can't handle everything it used to with cheap chips.
did you get the sensor error fixed? if not I can help you You need to activate the bypass. There's a factory bypass way, or you can install a micro bypass, that will disable the speed sensor, so you can watch movies while drive (wink wink), I mean while you're parked.
Apologies if you answered already... but firestick on this headunit... will it play whkle driving or only while sitting? I was thinking of adding a firestick for passengers and long drives
How did you connect power to your firestick? I saw from another TH-cam video that the firestick doesn't like power to come form the back of the headunit.

Hopefully we can fox it 🙏 😬

Nice. I always have issues with that. Everytime

What subwoofer box and speakers you got? I have a Silverado too and want your same set up!
The box is a custom job. But I have two 12inch subs. All the speakers are JL audio

Yes they put a new firmware. They have another one already. And firestick still works when driving
No luck for me with a fire stick lite on 3.4. Is there a particular fire stick that needs to be used?
That’s a really cool stereo I’ve been wanting to upgrade my stereo too
Thanks bro. It's a really good one

I'm not getting any lag. Have you updated it?

Is there a way to stop that speed sensor sensor error? It is so annoying.
What brand hdmi cable did you get micro hdmi?
I got the best buy ones
I can't wait until mine arrives I bought this for my 89 CRX SI I know it's overkill but like having that big screen.
👍👍👍
Does anyone know how to get the remote control to work? I replaced the battery and it still doesn't work.
You might need to replace the remote
Nice addition to an auto.

Correct. I scissor run thru this in the video. Works great
Cool review. First person I have seen cover HDMI.
I think it can play videos via USB. Have you tried that yet?
It does. 👍
How did you connect power to your firestick? I saw from another TH-cam video that the firestick doesn't like power to come form the back of the headunit.
I have a separate power running. USB to ground and relay power so it shuts off when the truck is off
The only reason why it wouldn't be compatible they'd never got their hands on the vehicle yet to update it
For the maestro?
Can i do this for the nex 5700
Does it have a micro hdmi port?
@@rohastechreviews yes sir
