    I've started the process you outline a couple of days ago - before I saw your video. My only problem is that I have not changed my licence within the 2 year period because my Portuguese wife does all the driving here, just like I did all the driving when we were in the UK. We'll see how it pans out.

    What about the age requirement? Example people over 60.

      The last info I had WRT a UK driving licence was that it is being treated functionally the same as an EU licence in that you can use it in Portugal while it is still valid, but naturally you can't renew it unless you go back to the UK to do so. Also, this only applies until age 60.
      In the UK over the age of 70 you have to renew your licence every 3 years, I don't know what the equivalent rule is in Portugal although it's possible that it starts at 60 given the restriction mentioned above.

    I filled out the form submitted it and then got an email requesting additional documents. Now when I try to fill the form again and submit the extra docs, it won't let me as it says I already have a process underway. A window comes up saying that as soon as I fill out the NIF box with my tax number. There does not seem to be any way of adding to the original application despite me having a reference number for it from the email response IMT first sent me. I have tried emailing IMT, they don't respond. I don't know if you have any suggestions?

      I think there is an issue with your application. I would try to go directly to their office
