hail the chaos mongers...... This album was so ahead of its time as was dimension hateross. we haven't even begun to scratch the surface of what these guys really meant to heavy metal. I suspect they're already in the Canadian Rock and Roll Hall of fame. I mean there hasn't been anybody since Rush that is really shaped music like these guys have from Canada. And I'm a big fan of Angel rat I love that album I mean Terry Brown Rush is overproducer had a hand in that I mean it had to grow on me but it certainly got a cult following. And of course the album outer limits sat well with me! I wasn't real big on Eric forrest and that version of voivod when they did negatron(which was the best album out of the three) Phobos and kronik. I have negatron but the other two I don't have from the Eric Forest, line-up. I didn't really start listening to voivod again until Jason newsted came into the fold with the self-titled voivod album then katorz and infini. and of course you know piggy died which was really sad cuz you know he was to me the ringleader of that band. He was the heartbeat of that band an Infiniti fell on deaf ears with me. They tried to make an album with guitar parts that piggy had left behind with infini. But when I found out that Blackie was getting back into voivod in three out of the four original members were going to be together again, I thought of one thing all hail chaos mongers. So they put out the live volume Warriors of ice which is really cool, and that was my first chance listening to chewy the new guitarist and boy did they find an incredible replacement for a piggy I didn't think they ever would be able to. So they charged on......I didn't know how long Blackie away and snake with last together.as we all know black he had issues with the guys in voivod back in the angel rat days he hated the direction of the band at that time he wanted nothing to do with it you know there's a lot of deep-seated animosity built up and they never worked it out. And Blackie comes back to the band does Target hearth and warriors on ice and all the same shit reared its ugly head again. So exit Blackie and enter Rocky. For "post society"+which is a kick ass fucking album I really felt the dimension hate Ross mixed with Jason newsted era coming out of them I knew it was a taste of things to come. And then the full-length album which is just been released last year 2018" the wake " ...... Which fucking kicks ass Rocky is one badass bass player and chewy is a hell of a guitarist I mean it's like they picked up right where they left off after Angel rat. I mean I hear Angel rat nothingface dimension hate Ross and the self-titled voivod album all mixed into one for "the wake"! Voivod is come full circle and of course a week ago I saw him in New Orleans at One eyed Jacks and they did not disappoint cuz the last time I saw him was during nothingface and that's one of the greatest shows I've ever seen in this was right up there with it! It's like Peggy's soul is in Chuy's body and I feel that Rocky is a better bass player than blackie is. and of course a band I had heard about but I never listen to called "yob" opened up for them and they were incredible! Look at me getting into a history of voivod. And I didn't even talk about the three original albums , Roooooaaaarrr, Warren pain and my favorite killing technology which I have on album. On Megaforce records and it's an original version not something I just bought. How everybody was on Megaforce records back in the late 80s early 90s if you're a thrash metal band The zazula's we're a married couple who ran Megaforce records and boy did they make a killing off that. Everybody wanted to be on Megaforce back in the day and all the big bands were. Anyway hats off to voivod especially away he's my favorite member by far and one of the great drummers in metal history. And he's one hell of an artist.Hail chaos mongers.

This is early voivod I mean war&pain and rr4rrRoar are just basically Punk albums I mean they hadn't found their groove yet or basically their sound I mean killing technology was really their first album and the sound Grew From there in two Dimension hate Ross into nothingface they all have their similarities. But the stuff before killing technology I mean they were just finding themselves and as musicians they were not on top of their game yet. But when people think of early voivod they think a killing technology that's really where voivod found themselves and that was what 1985. And that's the type of sound that they've been carrying on ever since

Anyone else thinks that the song should end with the riff from around 03:15? Just stretched a bit and faded out.
