- Absolutely stunning location in the Scottish highlands called Rhu Point Beach near Arisaig. As a bonus, the northern lights made a very stunning appearance.
Took the Simond Makalu T2 tent with me along with my lighter sleep system inc the @Rabequipment mythic ultra 120 sleeping bag.

Definitely worth the 4 hour drive. Thought I’d try a spot I hadn’t been too as well.

I’ve camped a few times on that coast and so far only once have I had another tent. Did get a little worried when folk came along about 5pm but they wanted pictures then left. That Aurora was just something else. Cheers Dave. Hope we can get a camp out this summer. Gonna try for a few more in the lakes

Was good I’ve just had another camp last night in that area before I get back onto some summit camps. Just love the west coast. Especially this time of year. Cheers for the comment frank 😊

That camp had it all. What a sunset and to top it off a white sandy beach. Fab star trail with the Aurora pics also.

It’s a long ass drive from mine but when we get hit with the weather I can’t resist. As much as I love a summit camp you just can’t beat some of the beaches we have in the highlands and Hebrides. Was as close to perfect as I recon I could get. Cheers for the comment Gav. ATVB
@@Moffatmountainadventures That camp is what it’s all about. Awesome. You drive off without your camera at the end though 😉 Amazing road in the very last scene.
@HikingForHealth1 I left loads out of the drive in and out as I wanted it under 25 mins but honestly that drive from Glencoe to fort William in my view is the best road in the UK.

Another stunner can't beat a beach camp 👌. I planned a 24 hour loop in the Galloway's/Dungeon Hills for tomorrow with a camp at Loch Enoch. But after watching this and looks like some really major aurora activity could kick of tomorrow night. I'm not so sure now if I should go further north. Where iam planning on camping is in major dark sky territory though. Decisions decisions 😖🤔😄

Cheers murchie, honestly mate, possibly one of my favourite camps so far. Everytime I come to that coast line I get treated to a stunner. Gonna head back that way next weekend and get a summit and maybe then a beach 🏝️
