i recently picked him up after getting my jungle pick banned twice in a row, i think the early ganking with Q and just overwall presence in team fights makes me a low elo stomper. so many people pushing too hard that you can punish
legit queation, moba recomends sunfire, jak'sho, thornmail etc. would you ever run that or is this just a better buidl? Just curious

I would never recommend that mobafire build to anyone since it just makes it unplayable in solo Q due to massive lack of dps. The build I use is something I would strongly recommend to anyone looking to climb with amumu.

Do you like the sun fire liandry over demonic jaksho or is it situational
he does, reasoning behind it is the tanky setup requires a team to follow up so you have to be on the same page, while if you land your cc on someone you can solokill with the more bruiser setup with liandrys. hes going tank after still so it is not like you die that fast, you are just more like a bruiser with a q ult q chain cc kill combo.
Pretty much what fuzzel said. Also to add to that demonic rush is dogshit in general because it doesn't actually provide you any additional jungle clear speed since they gutted the items damage vs monsters. So a sunfire rush will speed up everything jungle related and it is cheaper.
