I adore Betty Hutton, both the young Betty and the older Betty. When I watch young Betty singing Murder, He Says or Ole Man Moss, it's hard to see that that's the same wonderful person whom Robert Osborne interviewed on TCM. Just physically speaking. They seem like two entirely different human beings. But this interview helps me see the transition. In this interview you can still get a glimpse of the young Betty from the 40s but you can also see the sweet loveable Betty from the TCM interview that was in her future.
She's so hyperkinetic that it's endearing. She went down a strange path due to another childhood hurdle to overcome. When I hear of triumph over adversity, it makes my admiration for that person that much greater. She's about my age here, give a few years, but you can see her strong desire to have a better life.
How I wish I could have met Betty Hutton. She was a wonderful performer in motion pictures. I don't know all about her private life, just that she went thru a lot of pain until she met Father McGuire, and met and received JESUS into her heart for the first time! I know she is in Heaven, and I will meet her then! Oh praise Jesus! I adore Him!

I see so much pain. Her suffering is over, now. Thanks for all your efforts ❤
None of her three children came to her memorial or funeral. What happened? She spent her final years under the care of non family members.
