1970 Chevy C10 Suburban gets new LED headlights and daily driven

This Suburban has been a really reliable vehicle. I have started to notice a few issues popping up. The first was the battery level when the fan, heater fan and lights were on. This would drop me below 12 volt until I either turned off the heater or the electric fans kicked off. The headlights hi/low selector switch seems to be going out and the carb needs a good adjusting/cleaning as it seems to run rich and rough when cold. Overall though this thing has been so much fun. Looks good really like how the lights came out thinking of putting some on mine, and could your alternator be going bad

They look great. The alternator was never built to run all the electronics this has. Electric fans, big stereo, ac, heater, lights. The electric pulls some big power. I think it is time for a larger one.

Would say you have a Choke issue with all the soot blowing out of her... Two kicks to set the choke, bump the starter and it should light right up ! All the best to you and your family, hope things are better for you all now.

No they are to expensive. I got them off Amazon. The link keeps changing though
