Well, there are many languages besides Hindi in India. I'm not Indian, but as I understand it Hindi is kind of a lingua franca within India that most people learn so they can communicate with indians from other areas who don't speak their local dialect. When I saw this I figured her native tongue was a different Indian language and she learned English (another very useful lingua franca, as India has more English speakers than my other country except America) I stead of Hindi? Maybe I'm wrong, idk. She speaks English with a strong accent and clearly speaks SOME other language fluently, but I don't know what that language is. If anyone can help me understand I would appreciate it.

I just couldn't understand the concept behind this video..initially that boy was speaking hindi nd at the end he was speaking english fluently nd fairly well...instead of this police chapter ,that hindi speaking boy could be her IELTS examiner next day..that could be better i guess..i didn't like it at all..

I'm a black South African that to a teen and my interest of wanting to learn Hindi started with the fact that I just love Indians and yes I say Indians as a plural as well as Bollywood movies and I-dramas. My home-language is Xhosa and me loving Hindi doesn't stop me from loving my own language. I know you might have not meant anything offensive but I just thought I'd clarify myself. Actually a lot of people in SA may know English and speak it often but would prefer to speak their own languages and maybe might even want to learn some of the other languages we have in SA.

There is a serious lesson here for all new generation lndians.When the British brought us lndians here in 1860 ,they forced all lndians to speak only ENGLISH not their mother tongue, lndians were punished by beating if they conversed in Hindi.They even banned lndians from visiting lndia .After 100 yrs we lndians completely forgot Hindi ,lost all relationships with our families in lndia .Now the new generation is totally transformed to a western way of life,mostly British or American style.After 165 yrs in South Africa, the only first world country in Africa with living mostly amongst whites ,we have become like them.Only in the past 5 yrs Hindus are learning Hindi,but we have never forgotten our rich lndian culture .There is nothing good about a western culture,their entire life is eating,drinking,sex,money,divorce,merrymaking,leaving home,deserting their parents,marry then get divorced ,marry again ,then get divorced, stress more stress .Alcohol,drugs,night clubs,sex fights, this is the life of western people.

This video reminds me of an incident in 2015 when I was working in an MNC. I used to make it a point to converse with my colleagues and managers and managers from other departments as well in Indian languages as per their mother tongue/ the language in which we are commonly comfy at. Though I'm a convent educated person I feel a real sense of pride while speaking in Indian languages. One manager complained to my reporting manager about this. What happened one day was when I was conversing with one my colleagues in our native tongues over the phone, my reporting manager was next to this guy and overheard the conversation. He grabbed the phone from him and warned me sternly that he's gonna cum down for a meeting soon to our office and fire me from my job for speaking in Indian languages and that would be a punishment for me. I can NEVER forget that day for life 😠😡😢😓😭

English is a very, very difficult language to pronounce. I saw many English speaking people struggling on some words! And even they do not pronounce English in the same way according to the regions. I am a French native still struggling with the English pronunciation, especially for the emphasis on certain syllables. And there is "rebel" and "rebel" two different words according to the emphasis. Not easy. Really not easy. I love India: I can go there (I went 10 times already) and at least I can talk to people. I try to pick up some Hindi through your videos. In India I live in Bangalore. There people love, love, love their language, Kannada. I respect all languages, they all reflect the concepts of the people who have lived in their countries for many centuries!
