Hi Sir, nice video of restoration of Westclox Big Ben.
I found a 60s Big Ben repeater which looks like this but with theqlarm repeater as an add on. I was looking for a barrel becquse the one I have is chewed out. Now that I know its from a recent Baby Ben, I can find a new one for cheap.
Hey, thanx for this feature on the later model Westclox models. I've really enjoyed the look inside of a late model, model 7?
Have you ever run across an alarm clock called a Conorado? It looks like a Westclock "Bingo" model from the 40's, but doesn't have Westclox on the dial, but does say " Made in La Salle Ill. on the bottom of the dial face. Thanx, rex
Thanks for stopping by! Glad you enjoyed the video! This is the style "8".
That sounds like one of Westclox's many models that used the style "66 movement" which I've serviced here on this channel. There's hundreds of case designs with that specific movement in it (or variants of it).
Also, I'm pretty sure the name itself has something to do with the "Conorado" department store chain. Westclox made some models of clocks and watches that were ONLY sold in those American stores.
