- This is episode 19 and the FINALE of our It's Time to Run series!! This is our journey from selling our house to living on the road indefinitely. We visited Arizona, Colorado, Utah, California, and Oregon! NEXT WE ARE GOING TO EUROPE ON AN OCEANIA CRUISE!!! Stay tuned....
In this episode we have made it to Colorado, and Kaiya isn't feeling so well. Thankfully she recovers in time for her 4th birthday, and we find ourselves a short-term rental until we get all of our life things figured out. We sit down and go over why we had to cut our trip short and what is next for us. Trust us, we aren't done traveling, and our lives will continue to stray from the "traditional path". You are NOT annoying! You are awesome! Cherish the special times you had. So much of this series resonated with me. Years ago, my husband and I set out on our adventure and moved to St. Croix. Our two cats joined us. It didn't last as long as we had planned. We moved back home a little over a year later. We came home to an empty house as we had sold almost everything. After that, we had our family and lead a typical life for the most part. I lost my husband, Mike, several years ago. I am happy he got to live his dream of scuba diving any day he wanted - even if it only lasted a short time. This chapter is closing for you, but a new one will begin. Youl have so many memories and stories to tell. I still look back on our adventure and try to remember the good parts. Looking forward to watching your cruise fun!
I just want to let everyone know that we are far from being done traveling! We are already planning our next destinations after our cruise. 😊 We just needed to take a break while Mike gets healthy!
