He puts his complete being into this performance, such spirit within that commands all the external movements we see in the video. Look at his eyes, this is where he directs his force from - everything flows from inside to out

Great video despite remarks by many viewers about the missing lower part of the body. In fact the technical quality of the production and focus on the upper body gives one the opportunity to have a closer study of the mechanics and movements of the shoulder, elbow and hand; and in this case I am utterly impressed to see a lot of skillful coordination and "soft jin". I definitely gain some insights here! Thanks for the video.

Xu Fang Wang in Shekou- Shenzhen at Peninsula 1's psrk where she was teaching. She is also at Si Hai Park. I studied with her for over a month to refresh what I learned from Master Zhang those many years ago. I will certainly travel back to Master Zhang. He is a kind, brilliant Master. I will likely go disguised. Prankster I am. Thx for the beautiful Posting of that film.

Master Zhang was my Taiji teacher in 05. I saw their Class in the Ren Min Guan Chong from Zhong yin da sha where I was staying. I saw a lot of Martial arts going on in Different parks, squates and was up to that point not interested. Met them Miss Yang and Huar Yang most notably. I became a Tu Di. Later on in Shi Jia Zhoung I met his teacher Master Ma Hong, Yang Hefa, Xu Fang Wang. I have continued my studies and in 2013 met Master Xu Fang

In the beginning he was doing movements from Xiao Hong Quan......only in a beautifully soft Tai Chi kinda way. Any way to contact that man for tutelage?

Creative splices, although some of the transitions were a bit jarring... I do not have the technical skill to do better, but I can consume. Love the music as it's tied into his movements, and the wind's interplay with his clothing is beautifully dramatic. I am a complete novice to Tai Chi, so I cannot comment on his form with experience. My overall impression: Very Cool.

Most unfortunate. Would have been a pleasure to watch, if not for the editing and close up. Only half way there with out leg movement. But, thanks for trying. The music was nice. And, the black & white filming is cool too. Try again. Unseen friend

This is an art film. It doesn't show a complete form, it's been pieced together from different video segments, and much of it only shows upper body shots. Tried to g00gle for more material on this Master but no luck. Any chance one of his students has some good footage they could post? Thanks.

When you practise tai chi chuan you must not concentrate, of course in the learning period you must concentrate but after you just need attention. To control your chi , you calm down your mind, focus on the form and use breathing to move your chi.
If you choose tai chi be warned that is not a fast way to became a fighter, it takes long time to be able to use it in fights.

Perhaps the lower body is not shown to avoid people using the video as a tutorial.

    With regard to 'off-shoots'.
    All are 'off-shoots'.
    This is called evolution.
How successful they are depends on whether they remain or not.
    This is also evolution.
Even Chen family style is an 'off-shoot' of something else.
    Several something else's.

hi. i was taking my 1st steps to becoming aquainted with a martial art i feel attracted to when i came across ur video. i was watching but felt very ignorant to the connection of ur conscious level inside to that of what u were expressing physically. i would very much be interested in a video in which you explain ur intro into tai chi when young and what is the objective behind continuing this art..mental thoughts, points of concentration, breathing, etc.

They have tried to make this look ancient by deliberately filming it in black and white. It is just another offshoot from Chenjiagou, no more, no less.

There is no such thing as the original Chang San feng Tai Chi form. It only came into egxistance when Yang Lu chan invented his form and even he didn't even call it that himself.
