- A young girl's medical journey has become an internet sensation - after medical trials cured her rare form of epilepsy. Grace Hall, from Devon, started suffering sudden seizures when she was just a few months old. To highlight the little-known condition, West Syndrome, her parents captured the fits in a series of disturbing videos that have now amassed more than 2 million views.

My daughter also suffered from west. She was 8 months than. She is now 3 years old. And she is doing beyond expectations. No special treatment anymore. No medication. Dockters are speaking of miracle.
Blessings to anyone who is experiencing this with thier child. And please except the orthodox treatment. I know it sounds bad at first. But for us it was a miracle to see our daughter back from distress and recognizing us again. And special thanks to the children medical team of the Erasmus MC, Rotterdam Nederlands.
That child suffers and you can see it after every contraction. Either it frightens her as though she is falling or it contracts her muscles and hurts. But whatever it does, it is painful for the baby! Heartbreaking!

This is so scary!!!! How can a parent tell! This just seems like a regular, upset, fussy baby.
Ok... look at the 1st change of video when that beautiful baby is in her crib and she's fussing and you see her hands go up with a jerk like move ... almost like a pinched nerve sort of thing and after she jerks her cry is get louder and she gets irritated. . It's feels like a shock with a pull to it ... it hurts ... poor baby. .. alot of people get it in their neck and shoulders. . And about how can parents know because when you have a baby you study that baby , its wants and needs its dislikes basically you know your baby's demeanor and personality and if there is change you will know.....hope this helps. ....baby is fine now ..

This is so sad. My seizures started at a year old. Im 36 and am on three different meds to control. Its sad her life is gonna end up like mine i have epilepsy too

Im just a little confused. Seriously asking is the abnormal seizure part when she stops moving and goes silent or when shes crying and moving her arms? I have a 1ur old grandson so id like to know just in case.

My grandson has this type of seizures. What do the Dr's give your baby? My grandson takes medicine, and it helps, but he still has break through seizures..

She’s perfectly healthy. She went to a specialist who ruled out anything unhealthy.

@Georgina Maroti she was having infantile spasms, ⏃ type of seizure that kinda looks like what would happen if you scared ⏃ baby, the fear reflex kind of. it might be tensing her muscles, and thats why she cried or the shock of the spasm scared her
either way it can develop into worse things if left untreated, like epilepsy

Her body stiffening up is the seizure. It may be the feeling of having no control, or even the slight pain from the stiffening that makes her cry

Lol poor baby I have seizures where I start crying and laughing uncontrollably and I have Haths Syndrome and I can't handle hats and I'm allergic to them and they make me seize and I go to Francesca's Hospital & Surgery Center for testing and treatments.

Just a little politically correct comment... they don't call seizures epileptic fits any more. People either use"epilepsy" - if diagnosed, or "seizure disorder" if the type or origin is unknown. For a little smile here, people also can't possibly swallow their own tongue so don't put anything in their mouth if your baby has a seizure.
