Last winter my buddy and I hunted a honey hole civil war camp we’ve been hunting for years and one particular day I dug a handful of colt pistol bullets and a stunning Eagle-I cuff button… my buddy was using his Equinox 800 and he dug absolutely nothing…. surely I just happened to walk over targets and he didn’t, or maybe I just know the T2 better than he knows his Nox.
The T2 never lets me down while all my friends run out and buy the next big machine lol, if it ain’t broke why fix it is the way I feel lol.

If you where detecting would think you would walk past both signals . Just on the fringe of detecting . 9 inch maybe . Interesting video . Bet the Impact would hit it . I am digging 11/12 inch small thin coppers (turners) in the UK . I have just had the Impact a few weeks and loving it .

Just wondering if you're still loving your Impact? I think that will be my next machine but still researching.

Wonder what the difference between the G2+ and the T2+ is? I have a T2+ so that is why I ask.

Which is supposed to be the best detector between the G2+ and the T2+? I own the T2+ so I wonder which is supposed to be the best?

T2 for depth and performance in most good soils (especially pasture), for sure.... G2+ in iron infested (Roman/medieval sites), as well as heavily mineralised dirt. I've used both for years, and I still do.... ( G2+ alot better with 5x10" white elliptical DD closed coil all day long in iron and sparky dirt). Two different horses for different courses. Both excellent in their own domains.

I thought the DST was to shield EMI? I may be wrong, thanks!.

It is. The machines were sounding off due to heavy ground mineralisation, and not EMI . Both MD's were on max sensitivity (for depth), settings in 'the fog' of heavy ground minerals. This was what made them chatter. Lower sens' and chatter goes. So too does depth.

Aren't FBS machines supposedly made to do very well in bad ground? But you never test one. Why not?

Relics1864 very good video on t2 g2 and the operation you showed what about the gamma or omega or even the tesoro tejon in the future

Hi Jeffery. Keith has done two tests for the Tejon already,: the nail board test, and coil tests. The coil tests show the Tejons' depth and efficiency in unmasking in his very highly mineralised dirt using three types of coils. However, these may not be the tests you are looking for, as they were done some years ago, and you may already have watched them .

Both are more chattery then morse code.

Eccentric Smithy I am a ham radio operator and Morse code gives me a terrible headache but listening to a metal detector such as my T2+ does not and why I do not use Morse code at all just voice modes.😀
