Hello all,
Today we have a Victorian heritage video. In this video we capture Steamrail Victoria's Shepparton Steam Shuttles that operated during the King’s Birthday long weekend. This was part of the larger Shepparton Steam Weekend event that saw a pair of K Class steam locomotives and a pair of high-nosed T-classes trek their way up to the Goulburn Valley. Beginning on the Friday before the long weekend, the train made its way up to Shepparton. Over all three days of the weekend, shuttles were run between the two K Class locomotives, being set up in top-and-tail configuration with seven of the heritage carriages. The two K-classes for this tour were K183 and K190 with the former on the down end.
In this video we see five of the shuttles (three on Wednesday and two on Monday) along with a few clips on board the first shuttle of the Monday.

Steamrail Victoria is one of the mainline heritage operators in Victoria, offering day trips and weekend tours back to a bygone era, whether by heritage steam, diesel or electric. This trip was a combination tour, comprising day trips and steam shuttle tours in regional Victoria.
