If you have a lot of properties built, that is still a good strategy, but with no build it wouldn't be. You should check out my 2nd video where I go in depth with the no build strategy and give it a try
@Kalliswaq There is always a chance at someone nabbing your cash, shields don't do anything to prevent it though and at higher boards 444 million will only finish a few landmarks. But it is up to the player, remember the no build strat is only meant for building up your dice rolls, cash is very easily to build up, you can boost upwards to 1 Bil easy with a no build strategy

I respectfully disagree, I can easily build up any money lost without having to waste dice rebuilding shields. To me, dice rolls are more valuable than money in MGO than cash.
I agree you can't control who you heist but if a friend catches you with no shields they'll attack you until you have to not only rebuild shields but also your buildings. Trust me the video was spot on with that one.
Facts. I figured there was a hidden weight system generating in the background to essentially force you to have wasted throws. I have some ideas on how you can possibly fight it for your advantage without wasting a multiplier but I'm still testing that theory ATM.
From what I’ve gathered, with lower multipliers, you land on railroads more, but at the same time when you roll higher multipliers like x20, you’re essentially landing on it 20 times at once. I haven’t tracked it on paper yet but I feels relatively balanced
@@vinski1168 one way you can use this to your advantage is if you have a lot of rolls, roll with single multiplier until you've taken down the shields of your "sworn enemy" and then bump the multiplier up and keep attacking until their town is dead...rinse and repeat for your next friend

Since I use a no build approach, I only build when I feel like I have enough money to complete the board ( the only kaveat is quick wins that need you to build) building outside of that to me is pointless because you, in my opinion, waste to many resources building, reshielding, and rebuilding.
I can vouch that there’s something fishy with the dice. I was playing the Moon Walkers event last night. I needed 1600 planets to get 1600 dice. I had about 2500 dice to start, and needed to hit the corners. Used x10 or x20 auto rolls to begin. Everything started normal and relatively efficient. I was getting roughly 100 planets for every 100 dice or so… sometimes better sometimes worse. Still around 2000 dice at 500/1600 planets. Then things slowed down a bunch. When I got to about 850 dice, and only had 1100/1600 planets, I began to wonder if I’d make it. So I stopped auto-rolling and optimized my multipliers. I’d do x20 or x50 when I was 7 spaces away from a corner. I’d do x5 or x10 if I was 6 or 8 spaces away. Every other scenario, I rolled x1. WITH this optimization, I was only doing as well as when I first started. I got to 1500/1600 with about 400 dice left. And I kid you not, I couldn’t get the fricking things to land on a corner to save my life. I spent every bit of those last 400 dice, with some help from a milestone reward in the daily contest to get me to 1600. It was a joke. I will never put money into this rigged game. As soon as I hit major resistance in the daily contests, I’ll probably just delete the app honestly. The reward structure is bad enough already. Actively weighting the dice against a player close to a goal is over the top in my opinion.
I can definitely understand the frustration, I have been there many times myself. Hopefully, things get better in future updates. We dont need gotcha gimmicks for sure.
@angelad599 I was just telling my wife that the other day. I feel the same when you're playing an event, and you have to land on the circle pieces. The reward can be 550 dice, and I'll be at x20 and get about 1/4 to almost half, and then nothing. I won't hit another piece until I'm out of dice and no longer have the multiplier, so there has to be something going on. Oh, and since the last few updates, I have not gotten a x50 for the community chest. I think it's rigged, too

Whether you build or not, you still can get robbed or charged rent. You ideally only continue no building until you think you have enough cash to finish a board, the point is to build your dice cache without having to roll for shields. Also with the amount of cash you generate when you are ready to use your dice will make the cash you lose seem trivial.
The bots will disappear when you have friends that actively attack you (basically play the game) so add more friends to stop that. I've never went bankrupt since. As for the removal, I attack people constantly and even if they "remove you" you're still able to have them on your list as far as I know and still able to attack them randomly so I wouldn't worry about that, most people will stay your friend, keep rolling and growing your wealth friend
Then we couldn't be friends lol. Targeting friends you are unshielded is the best strategy for winning tournaments because you get more points for unshielded targets vs shielded ones. So I actively seek out those whom I call Larry's (just a name I created for unshielded friends) It's all a part of the gameplay though.@@jms18uga

Noooooo ALWAYS spend every cent you have and build before you exit the game. If you're a high level and try to save a billion dollars just to fully build that money will be gone before you know it. Repairing your landmarks is a fraction of getting heisted.
But then you risk wasting dice on reshielding which defeats the purpose of no build. The cash you lose is completely trivial as cash is the easiest thing to build up in MGO.

For high end players the no building might not work. You can always put a x2 and get your shields back usually pretty quick. At that level 50- 80 dices is nothing to get your shield back.
I can see how you would think holding money is bad, but if you are saving up dice rolls and you have no properties to defend, money is the only thing someone can take and it's also the easiest thing to build back on the game. Thanks for your feedback!

He's not saying save money until you reach 10 bil. He's saying save money if you can't complete the board. Shut downs happen more often then heists. If you have nothing for shutdowns that excludes you. Also saving enough so you can create hotels. I've gotten a ton of cards doing that.

You click on friends on the bottom right of the HUD and click invite and then click the yellow button invite to be given a link, send that link to your friend and once they access your link it should tell you on your phone that "x became your friend"
No build isn't about that. It's meant to save your dice, roll a high multiplier, get a lot of cash and complete boards, this is the best way to do the color wheel. I have a video titled "this changes everything" that explains this. You should check it out

The more properties you buy, you will see green houses appear on the tiles, once you get 4 on each the next time it's time for the game to apply another one it'll switch to a red one. Once the same color tiles have 3 red (hotels) it will light up and if you land on either of those, it will present you with a wheel to spin
Im here because litterally nothing is crystal clear in tha app, and you cant find info on the manufacturers website. Im confused about stickers/albums/sets and somewhere in there stars too .... the stickers have 1-5 stars i think. so when i have tapped "album" there is something that looks like safe-box down to the right, this is confusing becasue when you click collect, when you have been rewarded some cards, sorry i mean stickers ... there is this animation first, but that can you skip but then when collect again or something and some stickers seem to go up in flames, and some shoots down to that same safe-box ...... And when i tap what looks like a safe-box i come to "stickers for rewards" but one thing i managed to figure out, is that stars you have, are the added up number of stars your duplicate stickers have .... if you have 1 four star duplicate-sticker and 1 three-star duplicatesticker you have 7 stars in total. Why will the game spoon-feed me a deal to where i get, im guessing, stickers and in-game-cash maybe a dice roll or two? today it plopped up something called "wheel boost" and a ticking timer....where it said, make sure you spin the monopoly wheel .... whats that i wondered .... finally i think i understand, it´s that auto-thingy when you build on the board/mapthat dosne have labels or any infot labels or info that you "yes click a button" but spin the wheel.....I thought that was what they meant when i read "spin the colorchart wheel" or something like that !!! now im going to watch the video =)

So I have an attacker who somehow isn't my friend, and he keeps attacking, but I can only get revenge on him once. Again, I don't know who he is. How can he keep attacking me, and I can't get revenge?
You are only able to get revenge once each time there is a new attack or anytime you get revenge that player will disappear from the revenge list. I'm not sure why they keep hitting you back to back. Have you ever traded with that person? If so, and you removed them, they can still have you on their friends list and can explain why this is happening. If nothing else, you may want to reach out to the devs on discord to let them know. Otherwise you could incorporate my no build strategy, I have a video titled "this changes everything" that explains no build. You won't get shutdown anymore per se but you will get heisted. The money lost is nothing to what you get back whenever you are ready to play. So I say give that video a watch and try it out!
This is why you spend your money to complete boards (if you have enough), but if you are saving your rolls, you aren't generating money, so there is no worry to lose money
When you go to shut them down, the wrecking ball will hit the property and a dust cloud would form. Then you would see your avatar and token swirling around the property you damaged. Otherwise, when you attack someone, a shield would pop up.
@Rudeboymo which can be deceiving as well because some folks rather build back shields before fixing the property and I'll go attack them and run into a shields lol, gets on my nerves.
Saw this video and tried the no build method. Deeply regret the decision, this is not a good idea especially if you are at higher levels where it takes a large sum to complete a board. I saved 125B and got robbed >55B overnight from money heist..😢 I could have built a couple more with 55B.. 😢 To add on it takes less money and minimal dices (srsly it's just 5 dices) to fix the building and reshield. It takes a lot more dices to get 55B.
Why didn't you just complete the boards? No build doesn't mean you don't build at all. You're supposed to build boards if you think you have enough money. Especially if you have 125B. And I've never had all my shields fill up with just one x5 dice roll. So to me I'd rather not build anything than chance losing dice, money has never been an issue with me because if I'm not rolling, I'm not having a huge pile for people to steal. I'd say you should check out my "this changes everything" video. It goes into no build more in depth and explains this very thing.
It changes based on how many boards you're on. Yes, that is correct. You only build when you want to complete the board or if you have quick wins that say to upgrade landmarks. For example, I'm on board 162, and it takes a few billion for me to complete a board.
you only are supposed to save the money to complete. it uses less dice rolls to save your money to complete vs buy property, getting it wrecked and rebuild.
Like all the different advice, hit friends, or don't hit them.... lear I g can be hard with the conflicting advice, been playing a month and find people that hit you can't stand to be hit back.....
I don't quite follow the comment, but you should always attack your friends. That is how you do the best in tournaments. I don't think I've ever said not to attack. Now, when it comes to building, on the other hand, I take a no build approach to protect my assets, and I have a video that goes over that
Well it's only meant to boost you up to being able to grow your dice. If you just used up your 80 dice, that would be boring because you wouldn't be able to do much regarding comps. So I created a way to help get you into the right direction. Save dice, win dice and keep dice. I don't see anything boring about it but you play how you like.

Besides any monies lost there is nothing to the amount you generate from playing so there is no worry there. Why waste the money on upgrades which makes you waste dice for shields and then you spend more money fixing damages and rebuilding that makes no sense and is a waste of time

sometimes i let people attack my buildings because you still get points towards leveling up for cheaper than upgrading a building

They got bots that will heist you when you have money left over. Also, lots of people will just remove you if you continuously attack them.

The don't build part, fixng actually give you Net Worth points.. either save or use that advantage to gain more net worth points, it's okay to build.
But you lose the net worth when your building is damaged, so you're not gaining net worth. You're just replenish what you're losing

I actually dont understand how the color sets work at all
The more properties you buy, you will see green houses appear on the tiles, once you get 4 on each the next time it's time for the game to apply another one it'll switch to a red one. Once the same color tiles have 3 red (hotels) it will light up and if you land on either of those, it will present you with a wheel to spin

Im here because litterally nothing is crystal clear in tha app, and you cant find info on the manufacturers website. Im confused about stickers/albums/sets and somewhere in there stars too .... the stickers have 1-5 stars i think. so when i have tapped "album" there is something that looks like safe-box down to the right, this is confusing becasue when you click collect, when you have been rewarded some cards, sorry i mean stickers ... there is this animation first, but that can you skip but then when collect again or something and some stickers seem to go up in flames, and some shoots down to that same safe-box ......
And when i tap what looks like a safe-box i come to "stickers for rewards"
but one thing i managed to figure out, is that stars you have, are the added up number of stars your duplicate stickers have .... if you have 1 four star duplicate-sticker and 1 three-star duplicatesticker you have 7 stars in total. Why will the game spoon-feed me a deal to where i get, im guessing, stickers and in-game-cash maybe a dice roll or two?
today it plopped up something called "wheel boost" and a ticking timer....where it said, make sure you spin the monopoly wheel .... whats that i wondered .... finally i think i understand, it´s that auto-thingy when you build on the board/mapthat dosne have labels or any infot labels or info that you "yes click a button" but spin the wheel.....I thought that was what they meant when i read "spin the colorchart wheel" or something like that !!!

I had a problem, i mixed up two different things in the game, EASY because nothing is labeled or the little blue ”info” is just repetition of or non-info, anyway i contacted support, man its not easy, but i was shure they didnt deliver my reward as promised. Its really hard to explain the problem when crucial things in the game havent got a name….. for example, what would you call the blue things with the yellow letter M on it ??? That you get from the net worth build reward thing?!?

It depends on how many dice you have. If you have less than 500 rolls, I'd say x5 and if you have more than 500 x20 is a good one

So I have an attacker who somehow isn't my friend, and he keeps attacking, but I can only get revenge on him once. Again, I don't know who he is. How can he keep attacking me, and I can't get revenge?
You are only able to get revenge once each time there is a new attack or anytime you get revenge that player will disappear from the revenge list. I'm not sure why they keep hitting you back to back. Have you ever traded with that person? If so, and you removed them, they can still have you on their friends list and can explain why this is happening. If nothing else, you may want to reach out to the devs on discord to let them know. Otherwise you could incorporate my no build strategy, I have a video titled "this changes everything" that explains no build. You won't get shutdown anymore per se but you will get heisted. The money lost is nothing to what you get back whenever you are ready to play. So I say give that video a watch and try it out!

If you keep saving money, they will eventually get more money in heist and mega heist
This is why you spend your money to complete boards (if you have enough), but if you are saving your rolls, you aren't generating money, so there is no worry to lose money

How do you delete someone who’s attaching but not on your friends list anywhere?
Unfortunately you can only remove players from your leader board. The player still has a chance to randomly get you for shutdowns and such.
If it’s on fb if you block them it will work

Yeah i'm at board 216 and still get 50 dice per board... and every fifth board is still a 2star sticker pack 🤷🏻♂️🙄
Yea, they should scale it up the higher you go, maybe every 15 or so, award a 4 star pack and increase dice rate to like 150 or something.

How do you know if someone doesn't have any shields
When you go to shut them down, the wrecking ball will hit the property and a dust cloud would form. Then you would see your avatar and token swirling around the property you damaged. Otherwise, when you attack someone, a shield would pop up.

@@Rudeboymo gotcha, well typically my rule of thumb I'd if they don't have any attackers or damaged properties showing I assume they have shields.

@Rudeboymo which can be deceiving as well because some folks rather build back shields before fixing the property and I'll go attack them and run into a shields lol, gets on my nerves.

Saw this video and tried the no build method. Deeply regret the decision, this is not a good idea especially if you are at higher levels where it takes a large sum to complete a board. I saved 125B and got robbed >55B overnight from money heist..😢 I could have built a couple more with 55B.. 😢 To add on it takes less money and minimal dices (srsly it's just 5 dices) to fix the building and reshield. It takes a lot more dices to get 55B.
Why didn't you just complete the boards? No build doesn't mean you don't build at all. You're supposed to build boards if you think you have enough money. Especially if you have 125B. And I've never had all my shields fill up with just one x5 dice roll. So to me I'd rather not build anything than chance losing dice, money has never been an issue with me because if I'm not rolling, I'm not having a huge pile for people to steal. I'd say you should check out my "this changes everything" video. It goes into no build more in depth and explains this very thing.

It changes based on how many boards you're on. Yes, that is correct. You only build when you want to complete the board or if you have quick wins that say to upgrade landmarks.
For example, I'm on board 162, and it takes a few billion for me to complete a board.
That don’t build tip isn’t great. I would rather have to rebuild my buildings then my mate robbing me for a mega heist for 300 million 🤣🤣
you only are supposed to save the money to complete. it uses less dice rolls to save your money to complete vs buy property, getting it wrecked and rebuild.

Like all the different advice, hit friends, or don't hit them.... lear I g can be hard with the conflicting advice, been playing a month and find people that hit you can't stand to be hit back.....
I don't quite follow the comment, but you should always attack your friends. That is how you do the best in tournaments. I don't think I've ever said not to attack. Now, when it comes to building, on the other hand, I take a no build approach to protect my assets, and I have a video that goes over that

Well it's only meant to boost you up to being able to grow your dice. If you just used up your 80 dice, that would be boring because you wouldn't be able to do much regarding comps. So I created a way to help get you into the right direction. Save dice, win dice and keep dice. I don't see anything boring about it but you play how you like.

Imagine saving up to like 200M and then someone gets a mega heist on you. All that effort’s down the drain when you could’ve spent it on a few upgrades. @s_baby5076 if you're saving up dive then you shouldn't have any substantial amount of money since you aren't rolling outside of quick wins.
Besides any monies lost there is nothing to the amount you generate from playing so there is no worry there. Why waste the money on upgrades which makes you waste dice for shields and then you spend more money fixing damages and rebuilding that makes no sense and is a waste of time

My goal is to Win and to improve my net worth as that is the focus of the game. So I don't get what raiding has anything to do with what I'm saying. I play in tournaments all the time and raid lots of people. But I also like for people to play smart and thus is why I create these guides.
