What is mainstream school mean? My son goes to normal primary school and they have separate class for autism and disability and getting all help
Mainstream school is just the normal school either private or public. Then we have Mainstream school with specialist setting (are dedicated for special kids inside Mainstream school). Then we have full specialist school that deal with specific needs like autism, blindness, deaf and so on.....
My daughter doesnt have a dissability SEN however I have epilepsy and I am on a low income. My family support worker (FSW) has been trying to get funding to pay for my daughters school stuff. I cannot apply with the local assistance team as I have had a fridge freezer from them and you can only apply once a year. My local council does not have anything in place for people who need help paying for their children's school stuff and I have been unable to get any help from the school because as far as they were aware my FSW was dealing with it. I have been informed by FSW that she is struggling to find any funding and may not be able to get what my daughter needs now. I have nobody who is able to help and no money to buy everything plus I am running out of time because she is supposed to start back at school next week. Im really worried because she needs uniforms footwear PE kit underwear etc and I dont know what to do. Would I be able to get a grant from you please?
Did you get a response.I think family funds are run wrong. Yes children have disabilities. The perants get extra money as it is to look after their child. I'm classed with a disabilities and my child gets nothing. My ex, on the other hand gets 44k on benefits for herself, husband, and 2 boy. Her and her husband get holidays for the family. BUT. That's a big waste.. my ex fly somewhere and get fags and then comes back and then her husband goes and get fags. The children ain't bothered because their both playing their play station 5s. Her children are both adults now and stay at the bungalow they get from council, why her and her husband live in a mobile home in Lincolnshire. Claiming they live in bungalow. I reported them and the council phoned her and said you been reported but as we no you got a mobile home for holiday, we just thought we give you a call and let you know that if away for more then for weeks you need to get us. She basically lives in Lincolnshire, why Claiming in Wellingborough .. its all wrong. Children go without because nothing wrong with them but could still die at any time...
Can you help with my son he’s 10 years old diagnosed with autism and gets dla and I’m getting help from a charity from a autism support worker at the moment. He’s dealing with a loss off his pet aswell who had to be put to sleep in October. She was with him from he was a baby. I never heard of this before until support worker informed me about this
