I love GT7, but i always thought it never gave GT3 cars justice when it comes to sound, i really hate how the porsche 911 GT3 sounds. ACC sounds loud and raw just like IRL versions. Understandable though given that ACC only focuses on a few GT cars while GT7 has like 500 cars to work on.
@@Cal3000 that guy is full of shit never listen to what Morat has to say about acc, he is probably sponsored by iracing like many others, the guy was crying about acc driving when he didnt even knew he had stabilty control on
ACC has more track and car details but something is still missing for realism; I don't think it's just a question of details but rather of dust, reflections, particles, and how these things blend together. In short, everything is too clean and aseptic (in both games, but gt7 conveys something more realistic, I think)
To get the absolute most out of ACC you really need to be playing it on the PC. The console versions just are really missing something by comparison. As far as Gran Turismo is concerned, it doesn't really have any realism. It's not meant to because it's just a car collecting game.
For sure, but they all have this same electronic synthesized sound when lifting off the throttle. I grew up around SRO races here in Germany and ACC is about 95% close to the actual sound (internally/externally)
@@deutschhhhh6922 don't worry. Nobody is going to debate you that acc is better in the sound department. The first time I played acc with my headset on, I was blown away by the sounds. Engine, gearbox, brakes. Suspension. its all amazing!
Or TH-cam in post processing, is like TH-cam make a bad conversion, like the other guy sayed in Samsung TV im 4k looks amazing i can say i play in a Neo Qled Samsung TV and look awesome
@@michaelvelez6699 that's not how TH-cam compression works. If it was TH-cam. Both Assetto and GT7 would be affected. At most TH-cam just makes the video blurry but in 4K not so much.
The r8 in gt7 doesn't have the specific pneumatic actuator sound when shifting. The goooooong sound is the gerabox doing its thing and it's not there in gt7. I know it's a small detail but for a game that has its atention to detail as a main selling point it's a bit annoying.
God bless the graphics, they are not bad both there and there, the sound is better in ACC. What about realistic controls? It seems to me that from this point of view the games are incomparable, ACC is a pure simulator, and GT7 is something between an arcade and a simulator. Yes, the competition system is better in GT7, but there is LFM and SimGrid for ACC. Something like this. And yes, I played both, ACC from the moment of release until now.
Both games are great. Your not losing with either. It's all about what matters to you the most and what your willing to settle for. If GT does it for you then get it. If ACC does for you then get it. Hell get them both if it works for you. As far as sound both sound great both are stupid close to being accurate. ACC sounds more raw more direct, whereas GT has more environmental influence with in the sound.
I feel like with ACC anything outside of the cockpit few is just a required sound clip. Alot of fames cockpit view sound crisp and clear. ACC theres engine sounds and just hollow noise, thats unpleasant, but more realistic to what a driver might actually here.
I like both but the feel of ACC is a lot more sketchy to me. I prefer feeling like I am in control of the car so I lean more to GT7. I think they both sound great.
@@A-man-yf6pr That's the problem with your experience. ACC is at its very best when played on the PC. The console versions are squirrelly, and that is putting it kindly. As physics go ACC blows Gran Turismo 7 right out of the water. It's sad but you have to use the PC version to know it.
@@ZuneGuy1118 That is actually great to know. Maybe one day they will get it right for the console as well because you are right as it feels as if it could be so much better until it randomly isn’t. I’m just not a pc guy so I’ll wait and bide my time. 👍🏻👍🏻

👍
One of the GT World Challenge drivers said ACCs sounds are over exaggerated and is actually a lot quieter in the car.
@@Cal3000 I haven’t tried all cars tbh but the Porsche 911 sounds almost exactly like the IRL version: th-cam.com/video/DpSdlaQnYuY/w-d-xo.html

Why does your R8 in gt7 got a turbo?
Because the dumbass uploader for some reason decides to tune the car and install a Turbo... which gives it 800hp too
All of the cars in GT7 have the same transmission whine 😂
Didn't realize that 😀
The gt3 cars do because they all have racing transmissions with straight cut gears.

100%, just wish ACC had the fidelity GT7 has. I now run it on PC exclusively, and it does have a massive increase in quality, but just there yet.
GT7 looks much better than what’s shown here. It looks like a filter was applied to it or something makes my eyes hurt. Quite jarring.

Yea GT7 is much more colorful and clear. This threw me off a bit GT7 looks washed out and blurry on this guys game or something💯
Is because TH-cam is not the game
