@@embn I love you guys....especially that 78 year old dude....?? Stevie the wild man! I bought me and my sweetheart a snow hat from you EMBN guys....That plus my GMBN Red, Black Grey and White.....sharp looking Jersey!!!! When Stevie gets done with Mt Bikes he can be a stand up comic!
Totally on the climbing, I've always enjoyed climbing, but the E-Bike just opens up a whole new world. climbing sections you would have pushed up, or even avoided in the past.
Ratboy is a genetically talented rider... it make dh so effortless in a world of tech modern riders. Miss him in races. Really similar to Manon Carpenter.
Hell yeah. Rat boy graciously accepted one of my Yuenglings in the Windham 2015 pits after a sick day of racing. Been a fan since! Bernard Kerr too, he gave me some used maxxis wetscreams that they were just going to dumpster. The post race pits are an interesting place!
@@embn indeed! I even caught Aaron gwin after his winning run coming out of the lodge. He autographed my cooler and let us take pics. His mechanic let us fiddle around with his demo too. Great guy, didn't seem bugged at all that a couple half in the bag race fans were fanboying.
The tips on e-bike handling help me as much if not more than tips on acoustic bike handling sometimes, seeing as my bike tips the scales at 38 lbs without a motor or battery thanks in part to the overbuilt alloy frame.
Acoustic bike never analogue which is a signal…acoustic is the natural way electric is the ebike... though I do like Rob Warner's definition of the acoustic bike "muscle bike".👍
this is based largely on a stock bike ridden with flat pedals. Its pointless pedalling the factory bike downhill because the motor will not be used due to the speed restriction. When you de-restrict the bike pedalling downhill becomes worth doing again because you have motor power. In addition, the more you can spin the cranks the more of the motor you can activate and that means high pedalling rpm`s which favors lower gears and foot attached. Good to see Josh riding, would be great to see him racing again.
Thanks for looking into to Josh's thought's on riding and handling! I learned a bunch from this video!!! Thanks Stevie!
No problem, Larry! Thanks so much for watching!

That's a really cool story! The pits post-race are a great place to meet your riding heroes!

Hi. Interesting tip on wheel sizes with regards to rough and smooth terrain. Will definitely try it out in the future.

Steve's heart eyes in this video are like out of a Disney movie 😍 I ship it
He'd smash some ews-e races for sure
i went downhill so fast i lost my job and now live in the mountains of leogang
Do you think we could see a Josh vs Brendon Ebike trials video. Plus a few others of course. 😊
Does anyone know what size bike Josh rides in the video, and how tall is he?

Never acoustic, it doesn't make sound.
