प्रातःस्मरणम्। सूर्य-गणेश-शक्ति-शिव-विष्णुदेवतनाम्/Morning Hymns to Surya, Ganesh, Devi, Shiv, Hari

सूर्य, गणेश, शक्ति, शिव, विष्णु या पंचदेवता आहेत. यांची उपासना पुराणांमध्ये आणि स्मार्त ग्रंथात मानवांसाठी उपकारक असल्याचे आग्रहपूर्वक सांगितले गेले आहे. हिंदू धर्मातील अन्य सर्व देवता या वरील पाच देवतांचीच विविध रूपे वा अवतार आहेत.
Soorya, Ganesha, Shakti, Shiva and Vishnu are called Panchadevatas. Their worship is deemed beneficial for all mankind by the Puranas and Smriti granthas. All other devatas in Hindu Dharma are varied forms or incarnations of these five deities.
निर्गुण परब्रह्म परमात्मा मायेच्या उपाधीने सृजन, पालन, संहार, तिरोभाव आणि अनुग्रह ही कार्ये करतो.
With the tinge of Maya, the inanimate Prabrahman carries of the tasks of creation, sustenance , destruction, concealment and bestowing grace.
सूर्यापासून जगाची निर्मिती होते. दिवसाच्या क्रियाकलापांचा आरंभ होतो. तो जीवनदाता आहे. व्याधींचा विनाश करणारा आहे. बुद्धिदाता आहे. नित्य प्रातःकाळी त्याचे स्मरण केल्याने व्यधींचा नाश होतो आणी सुख मिळते.
The Sun is the creator of this world. Our day begins with sunrise. He is the giver of life. He destroys illnesses. One who contemplates on him every morning becomes healthy and happy.
गणपती विघ्न हरणारा आहे, दु:खनाशक आहे, मनोरथ पूर्ण करणारा आहे. त्याच बरोबर तो सद्गुरूंच्या रूपाने शिष्यावर अनुग्रह करून जीव आणि परब्रह्माच्या ऐक्याचे ज्ञान करवून देतो. त्याच्या नित्य प्रातःस्मरणाने ऐश्वर्य मिळते आणि स्वानंद साम्राज्य मिळते.
Ganesha is the remover of obstacles and misery and fulfiller of prayers. He also assumes the form of Sadguru to bestow His grace on His disciple and grant him the knowledge of oneness of the Jiva and Brahman. One who contemplates on him every morning becomes wealthy, happy and receives the kingdom of self bliss.
आदिशक्ति आदिमायेचे स्वरूप अनाकलनीय अनिर्वचनीय आहे. तिच्यामुळे एकमेवाद्वितीय प्रब्रह्मामध्ये अनेकत्व दिसू लगले. ती सर्व देवतांची शक्ती आहे. सर्व कार्ये तिच्या इच्छेने होतात. ती सांसारिक सुख देते आणि मोक्षाचे सुखही देते.
तिच्या नित्य प्रातःस्मरणाने मनोरथ पूर्ण होऊन विष्णुलोक मिळतो.
One cannot comprehend or explain the nature of the Primordial Shakti or Adi Maya. It is because of Her that the absolute reality Parabrahman appears as many. She is the power dwelling in every deity. Everything happens as per Her wish. She bestows worldly pleasures and is capable of granting Moksha. Those who contemplate on Her every morning will attain happiness in this world and will attain the abode of Vishnu in the afterlife.
शंकर संसाराचा लय करणारी देवता आहे. नव्याला वाट करून देण्यासाठी जुन्याला नष्ट करावेच लागते. तेव्हा एकाच वेळी तो संहार आणि नवनिर्मिती अर्धनारीश्वराच्या रूपात करतो. त्याचे नित्य प्रातःस्मरण केले असता अनेक जन्मार्जित पाप नष्ट होऊन जीवाला शिवपद अर्थात परब्रह्माशी ऐक्याचे सुख मिळते.
Shankara is the God of dissolution. One has to make space for new development by removing the old and established ones. That is why Shiva destroys and creates simultaneously in the form of Ardhanaareshwara. One who contemplates upon Him every morning will rid himself of the demerits of bad actions in all past births and attain the Prabrahman which is same as Shiva.
विष्णु जगाचा पालनकर्ता आहे. भक्तांसाठी नाना अवतार घेऊन तो त्यांचे रक्षण करतो. तो पापहर्ता आहे. धर्मसंस्थापक आहे आणि त्रैलोक्याचा गुरु आहे . त्याच्या नित्य प्रातःस्मरणाने त्याचे अविनाशी आनंदमय स्वरूप प्राप्त होते.
Vishnu is the sustainer of the creation. He takes different avatars to protect his devotees. He removes sins. He establishes Dharma and is the preceptor of the entire creation. One who contemplates on Him every morning will attain Hid eternal blissful self.
