@@whom382 Greg would slay on Peart's kit. No disrespect, I absolutely adore Peart's work, but Greg is more creative with just a snare, kick, and ride than Peart has ever been with 30 drums.
@@MrToiletLove I agree completely. Greg can play Peart's kit. Peart might have been lost on Greg's. I'd love to give Greg those 30 drums and see if he can play some of Peart's best work with it. I'm not taking bets either way. The funny thing is based on some interviews Greg has done we shouldn't assume it is him on the studio work.
I like these odd rhytms. I have used to them listening a lot of Zappa's music. Deerhoof is one of my really favourite bands. It's unique. edit. I go little philosophy, we live in our tiny bubbles and big bubble is the Space. But worst is the money bubble: Derivative markets, evil of them all.

Greg IMHO is the second greatest drummer after Peart. I fully believe that Greg can't do what Peart did, but Peart can't do Greg's work either.
