WOW sound is pretty cool. Especially the announcements.

The wheels have European style disc brakes attached to the side, wich are the silvery „loops“ with the holes in them.

Just to let you know some corrections regarding your descriptions:
    1. The flag on the engineers side is backwards because the blue field of the flag is always leading towards the direction of travel. If you placed it on a flagpole it would be one way from one side and the opposite from the other side.
    2. The "air compressor" unit you listed is actually the DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid) tank.
    3. Diesel engine is a Cummins QSK95, 16-cylinder, 4400hp (derated to 4200 per customers request).
    4. The holes in the wheels are because they are disc brake disks. The holes are the bolts attaching it to the wheel.
    5. What you called the engine room is actually the cooling tower room. It's a quad heat exchanger unit that's open to the outside and has two large hydraulic fans above. The engine room is in front of it in an insulated, positive pressured room.
    6. There are 4 removable roofs: the little "chain lift" hooks on each corner are so they can remove it to access the modules inside. The car body is a monocoque (single body) design welded to the lower frame and cannot be removed.
    7. The DB area you listed is actually an electrical room that contains the air and brake rack, the dynamic brake resistor (2nd large vent on roof) , the traction container, the HEP unit and an auxiliary cooling tower (1st large vent on roof).
    8. ALC-42 fuel tank is 2200 gallons.
    9. The "grab irons" on the front are actually cable holders for when the front HEP is short looped.
    Hope this helps!🤠

At least the lights and horn ended up working right after that mess

Bachmann blew it when they failed to make the headlights bright white like the actual locomotive. How disappointing. The headlights are one of the most notable and prominent features of the locomotive. The Quality Control Manager should correct this immediately. Don't hold your breath though, not with Bachmann.
