Texting thumb maybe. Mine started out as a tendonitis from using pruning shears. I definitely have basal thumb arthritis now though. It used to radiate up my forearm too - I think that was de quervain tenosynovitis (I think it’s called. ) Now def arthritis. :( I feel you
