song selection, dance, and costumes are far more better than these days generation kids performing in foreign countries. I don't understand why they think its cool to ruin our songs by adding english songs while giving a performance that representing our Indian culture. Be it traditional , classical, semi classical, western, light, folk, mass, emotional songs they just have to add english song in between . Also wouldn't wear the costumes properly like wear the full western or full Indian attire but no they'll mix it wear a tank top and ghaghra or long skirt or some glittered shimmer type patiyala as bottom and add duppatta to it. Also recently saw a video where some Indian kids performing bharatanatyam adding western steps to it in between the classical steps even in semi classical steps also they added these western steps. It was really dissapointing to watch . This itself shows where the future generation is heading into. smh.( I am not against mixing songs, dresses, or even dance, do whatever you like/want, how ever you like/want. But if you're representing our country traditions and culture then you should do it in a proper way and in a proper manner.)
