►剧情简介：
唐武德九年，内廷生变，原太子之女李长歌侥幸逃出。逃亡途中，长歌偶遇化名为秦准的草原部落特勤阿诗勒隼，两人不打不相识，渐生英雄相惜之感。长歌在幽州粉碎一场阴谋，与此同时身份败露，前往㮶州避祸。她藏于㮶州刺史公孙恒身边，助其共抗草原势力侵袭，却未想到敌方将领隼竟是旧识秦准。长歌震惊痛心。然而㮶州情况危急，为争取时间等待援兵，李长歌与隼谈判，为大局甘愿沦为战俘被押往草原，意外得知大可汗另有野心。长歌决定暂放私仇，以身涉险拼死破局，隼为救长歌不惜与大可汗为敌，两人却阴差阳错天各一方。长歌辗转流亡，历经风雨的她逐渐领会仁者无敌的道理，最终彻底放下个人恩怨。在发现前隋势力才是挑动事端的幕后黑手后，长歌与隼联手为守护大唐与草原的和平贡献了自己的力量，两人也终于认清了对彼此的情感，携手共赴危局。
►Synopsis ：
In the 9th year of Wude Period of Tang Dynasty, Li Changge, the daughter of the former crown prince, accidentally escaped from the military coup in the palace. During her escape, Changge encountered the secret service agent of a grassland tribe, Ashina Sun, who was under the pseudonym of Qin Zhun. They got to know each other through a fight and their affection grew stronger. Changge smashed a conspiracy in Youzhou. However, at the same time, her identity was revealed, and she went to Shuozhou to escape capture. She hid herself beside Gongsun Heng, the governor of Shuozhou, to help him resist the invasion of the grassland forces, but she did not expect that the enemy general was Qin Zhun. Changge was shocked and distressed to discover Qin’s real identity. However, the situation in Yuzhou is in great danger. In order to gain time for reinforcements, Li Changge negotiated with Sun. For the sake of the overall situation, she was willing to be a prisoner and taken to the grassland. Then she accidentally learned that the Great Khan had an ulterior motive. Changge decided to temporarily put aside her personal vengeance, and risk her life to save the situation. In order to save Changge, Sun disobeyed the order of the Great Khan, but they were far apart from each other after that. After going through the arduous exile, Changge gradually understood the principle of the invincibility of the benevolent, and finally put aside her personal grievances. After discovering that the former forces of Sui Dynasty were the manipulators behind the scenes, Changge and Sun teamed up to protect the peace of Tang Dynasty and the grassland. They finally came to realize their deep affections towards each other and went to confront the crisis ahead.

A proven of Ashile Sun that he doesn't want her to suffered 😭. Looks like he was scared when Changge was trying to pointed the knife on her neck and trying to hurt herself 😭.
He's been protective of her for a long time. Unfortunately she can't see what he's doing because she's feeling betrayed. Sun is the epitome of cool. It shocked him to see her ready to end her life. He's so use to her being stubborn, resilient and strong to see her giving up has to hurt.
The way he save changge is so cool.. I really love these drama series.. I just need a happy ending..

I love this series. I've watched it 5x already...lol I can honestly say that I was NEVER bored. It was a few scenes I watched over and over again. The fight scenes were amazing especially Sun and Sher.

Sun was feeling so desperate in this moment ! She was just giving up and he didn't know how to make her react. She must survive, Even if that means that she eventually ended up killing him. A'Sun never gives explanations to anybody of his actions and that's why Chang Ge always missundestood him, he thinks that he always shows his good will and she must trust him but after all She's been through she says " why would I? " They still have a long road to go. I just remember the first time the emperor watch them together and how he almost cried with relieve when he said that she is well matched. Everybody was judging them because they supossed to be enemies but this was destiny and they're made to each other. Still hard to reach an understanding because they both are so strong by themselves.
that's why he mention changge's favorite word.. revenge hqhaha

Just curious - the translation has the main lead refer to the female lead as “her” but his subordinate uses “him” in the translation. Does the subordinate know that Shisi is female or is the original word used in Chinese, gender neutral?
the subordinate is unaware, which is why he uses "he" to refer to li shi si :)

And the subordinate doesn’t pick up on the fact that his leader refers to the FL as “her” or is the original chinese gender neutral (meaning it can refer to either male or female). Example in my native Tagalog (a language in the Philippines) we use “Siya” which doesn’t show whether the person being referred to is male or female. Unlike English where on the get-go when referring to someone you use he/she or him/her which tells the hearer outright that the person being talked about is either male or female. Thanks for responding, by the way!
@@imdreamingofawhite the original chinese actually isn't gender neutral ! :') sun refers to chang ge as 她 which is "she", while the subordinate refers to shi si as 他 which is "he". however, it's because in chinese this sounds the same - both are "ta" and is what we would call a homophone! there does exist a gender neutral term, but both used gendered pronouns. however, since the gender cannot be distinguished verbally, the viewers can tell only because it's written ^^ & no problem! language is an interesting thing hehe
