What is gyri and sulci exactly
A gyrus (plural: gyri) is a ridge or elevation on the surface of the brain.
Each ridge is surrounded by fissures known as sulci.
Sir, does Fusiform Face Area store facial long term memory?
It is face recognition area (area 37). Memory area for for recognition of faces. Lesion in area 37 causes prosopagnosia (face blindness) (Brad Pitt)

Cerebral cortex is the outer gray matter of the Cerebral hemisphere. It contains all the motor and sensory areas.
