07. 설장구춤
설장구는 원래 풍물굿의 판굿에서 장구잽이의 우두머리를 지칭하는 말이나, 이것이 다시 설장구의 놀이까지도 일컫게 되었다. 판굿 후반부의 개인놀이 중에 펼쳐지는 것이어서 지역이나 사람에 따라 가락의 구성이 달라진다. 이 설장구가 무용수들에 의해서 새롭게 안무되는 경향이 지속되어왔는데, 그 중 하나가 이 ‘설장구춤’이다. 국립국악원의 ‘설장구춤’은 국립국악원 연희부의 박은하에 의해 군무로 짜여진 작품이다.
휘모리-오방진(동살풀이)-굿거리삼채(자진모리)-휘모리장단에 맞추어 독무와 군무가 대비되도록 구성되었으며, 이 속에서 장단의 긴장과 이완이 잘 드러난다.
07. SeoljangguDance
The term “seoljanggu” originally referred to the chief player of janggu in Pangut, but later came to mean the whole performance as well. Since this is performed solo toward the end of Pangut, its melodic makeup varies from person to person, and from one region to another. Seoljanggu has been re-choreographed by numerous dancers, and this is one of them. This particular version by the NGC has been re-choreographed juxtaposing solo and group dances over the rhythmic cycles of hwimori, obangjin (dongsalpuri), gutgeori samchae (jajinmori), and hwimori, featuring their tension and relaxation.

아시아에서 나오는 전통가무는 대한민국이 최고다 인도의 전통가무도 심오하지만 미학적으로 볼때 내가 한국인이라
그런지 한국무용이 더 아름답고 매력적인것 같음

The southern Tamal dances are rich and sophisticated in the dancer's movements and gestures.
I like the Korean dance with many members and their coordination, and as always, the Korean beat with harmonious graceful movements.

@@georgehunter2813 Yes, I also appreciate and enjoy the intricate movements and forms in
Indian dancings. Interestingly, the scholars have found out there are certain correlations with
ancient cultures of Tamil and Korea, especially in language. The drums here in this dance also
look similar to Daula drum in Sri Lanka or to Pambai in Tamilnadu.
